"I was in East Harlem waiting for my cousin to finish his tour, and I stumbled upon a Zaro Family Bakery on 125th Street and Park Avenue. This was a great opportunity for me to grab a black and white cookie, a plain bagel, and a hot coffee. The bakery has a decent selection of sweets, bagels, spreads, sandwiches, and more. The coffee is pretty good too. There is some seating available inside, although it’s not as spacious as some of the other locations in Manhattan. I always enjoy their cookies and muffins, and the bagels are at their best when they come fresh out of the oven—hot and chewy soft. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a morning bite if you find yourself in East Harlem."
