"Fantastic find! With so many dining options in the UTC area, we struggled to make a decision. However, a quick search for sushi led us to the perfect spot, and I'm convinced nothing else in the area could compare. The Peruvian roll was absolutely amazing. We also tried the California Roll and the Dynamite Roll, both of which were excellent. I also had my first Cusquena Peruvian beer, and it was delightful! I can’t wait to return soon—probably within just a few days!"

"The Peruvian food is at the top of the restaurant. I have been a customer of this restaurant for 3 years and I can say every year that they improve themselves! If you want to try the very original traditional Peruvian taste nothing better than Machu Picchu! Fine and fresh ingredients, whether seafood, meat, poultry or pork that is your preference, you cannot go wrong. The spicy sauces Ajíes definitely a plus. Pisco Sour is a must! On weekends karaoke competitions, live shows and a variety of celebrations make it a place where you will never get bored! Either you are looking to hang with friends to see the World Cup or just a dessert, they are a trooper, ready for all!"

"This was our first visit. I was not sure what to expect. The menu looks fantastic. I had a hard time, deciding what to get, so we split several different things. The flavors were absolutely amazing! The cocktails I have never experienced again I had the purple corn base streak. It was awesome! The wife and I are now truly fans and will be returning many times so that we can try everything on the menu, probably try everything on the menu more than once or twice. Thanks for a great experience in our first Peruvian, Japanese Gastropub fusion!"

"From here ordered to try a new place that was more satisfied. The service was good by the employee. The shrimp ape was absolutely terrible. I understand that things are more expensive nowadays, but the amount of food there was very sad, only was 6 shrimps. For $18, I would exodct at least six shrimps for a shrimp shell. Mostly onions and a very small portion even with hardly any shrimps. The first and last time I'll be here."

"The Colombian coffee is excellent, and the bakery goods at 6:00 am are fresh and enjoyable. I give them a 4-star rating because I believe some of the prices could be more competitive. It feels like they are trying to make a lot of profit off of simple items like Empanadas."

"This is the best Peruvian food I’ve ever experienced! Their ceviche mixto is bursting with flavor! I prefer to order it without spice and have the heat on the side so I can add it to my liking, but if you're a fan of spicy food, definitely go for it spicy—you won't regret it! The fish is incredibly tender, and all the seafood works harmoniously with the delightful tang of lime. The small sides of choclo (sweet corn), cancha (toasted corn), and sweet potato add wonderful texture and flavor to the dish. It's an absolute must-try! Many of their other offerings are also incredibly tasty, so don’t hesitate to explore the menu. Additionally, the freshly baked warm bread served while you wait is a lovely touch, and the green aji verde sauce is outstanding!"

"It felt disrespectful for her to imply that I was dirty because the cockroach came from my belongings or to call me a liar since I was supposedly the only one who saw it. The customer service was terrible. I tried multiple times to reach a manager to discuss the situation but received no response. To make matters worse, they added an 18% gratuity to our bill without informing us, and I ended up tipping her again out of frustration. Our total bill was over $150, and given this unpleasant experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It feels unclean, and the way we were treated was insulting."

"Okay I cannot say enough good things about this amazing little place, It is now in my *top *eight *favorite *restaurants in all of San Diego... Okay it took me awhile to try this place because there's so many other restaurants in this little plaza but let me tell you we ordered the saltado chicken it's a incredible portion comes with rice broiled tomatoes and amazing french fries... If you enjoy Peruvian food you must give this place business, They were actually very busy when we were there, we were there for over an hour sitting at the table dining right next to the restaurant this is one of the only places in the public market that has their own tables.. after we ate our meal we gave the cook a big tip and I truly cannot wait to go back there."

"I like the pancita, anticuchos and the aguadito soup but the chicken needs improving, is dry and no too tasty, like when you keep it to long waiting out after being cooked.Also, the carne asada: When I tried it for first time, the meat doesn't even have a flavor, like no salt or condiments, however I decided to give it a second chance not long ago, I placed 2 orders of carne asada and they tasted the same as the first time, the price don't worth it at all.My honest opinion: take it out or definitely needs a big big improving."
