"First, I want to say that for YEARS, I would always walk right by this place; too fancy, probably overrated, too expensive for me. Let me say now, I can be so very wrong sometimes. I saw this place on an episode of How It's Made where they talked aboutcandy. This lady knows what she's doing!! If you are going to indulge and consume the calories, why not get the best? I alsogot a dark chocolate bar which I haven't tried yet but I'm so excited because the site said they were sold out, they are notpeople! I keep a bar of dark chocolate in my purse at all times, break off chunks and savor them as needed. It's medicine, asfar as I'm concerned. I'm currently eating an Almond Goldbite and dayum, its an amazing experience. Usually I don't likecaramel, it's too sweet and it hurts my teeth, but these are perfect is every way. Oh yeah, I got three different high-qualityproducts, best 16 bucks I have ever spent! The employees were incredibly kind and friendly, the guy at that cashier gave me afree caramel on my way out!! I might be a nerd, but I love a pretty bag too! ???? I will be returning here again verysoon! Update 10/4/2022- I have now tried the PureBar 68% Dominican Dark Chocolate and I happened to have my old reliable pursetreasure, Theo 70% Dark Chocolate so I gave them a side-by-side comparison and taste test. I declare, at least for my own tastebuds, Theo as the winner. Fran's is darker and shinier but it has a less desirable aftertaste. They both have a pretty similarmouthfeel. Theo is 2% darker but maybe its the source of their beans?! I just know that for me, Theo has this warm, almostcinnamon finish, that is just lovely. I will be returning to Fran's for caramels though and that's their specialty anyway. ????"
