"My first time was good. The staff didn't seem to be in a rush to help even though they I was their second customer that morning. The food was great. But the second time, I was waiting for a while for service. Turns out there seems to be one person who takes the orders. I was told that two people take the orders but when I was asked another person who seemed to be waiting to work, she said the other was the one. I can understand why since the first time, I know she seems to only speak Spanish. The other two are older and more seasoned. I has ordered asked for service twice with waiting in between. The one who was supposed to be helping me was indeed busy with orders but was very slow on the cash register and then I asked if there was only one person taking orders they said two, so when the main service lady came over, I said that I had been waiting ten minutes. Of course I could have waited longer but it was so weird that only one person was the only one to take orders. She gave me attitude and then I just left because she said I just got here. But I had already arrived 15 minutes before and they had seen me come in and I was the only sitting up front. Of course local reviews outweigh mine. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"Had to sit at 3 tables before we found one that wasn't really wobbly.. ..not sure why owners wouldn't just fix them, they knew they were bad. The people are over the top friendly and the mediocre review is no reflection on their kindness, just a couple suggestions that would make it better. Hubby had chicken fingers, fries and salad. He said all was good except gravy was watery. I had the grilled chicken salad which was ok, but all iceberg lettuce (ugh- worst kind to use, no flavor no nutrients). We shared an order of jumbo onion rings that I guess were made in house ...... just buy the breaded frozen ones, these had very thin battering and could see more onion than anything. Lastly prices online are not current. We don't live in the area so not sure we'll be back, but service and people are good and the fixits are minimal, hope this is rec'd in the spirit in which it was given. ?"

"The diner is open seven days a week from 7 AM to 9 PM and offers a variety of typical diner food options. The menu includes appetizers, soup and salad choices, sandwiches, lunch and dinner plates such as Fried Chicken, Pork Chops, BBQ Ribs, Hamburger Steak, Calabash style Shrimp, Fried Oysters, and more. They also have daily specials like Pot Roast, Baked Chicken with Rice, Chicken Pie, Country Fried Steak, and more. Additionally, they offer larger quantities of items for takeout. During our visit, we tried the Baked Chicken with Rice, Fried Chicken Livers, and a Chili Dog for lunch. Each dish came with two sides and bread for $6.99. The food was good overall, with the Baked Chicken and Rice standing out as exceptional. The Fried Chicken Livers had a great taste but were slightly overcooked. The sides like Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, Fried Okra, and Pintos were all tasty. Overall, the service was excellent and we enjoyed our meal. We look forward to returning to explore more of the menu in the future."

"Sunday morning 8am. I caught this place before any rush. Kim, my Waitress, was fantastic... Meal was a disappointment, and I'm not hard to please.. It doesn't have to be great. Just reasonably good. Biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were hard... 8am was too early for that. Maybe prepped way in advance in anticipation of a rush. But the trade off isn't worth it. I might expect that at 2pm but not at 8am Plenty of gravy, but nothing was going to soften those biscuits. First time in my life I've asked for crispy bacon and crispy hash browns, and they came out leaning towards burnt and tasting heavily of grease.... I've done short order cooking and they may need a new cook.. Over easy eggs were ok. Cute place but as my dad says, if you can't get breakfast right, don't bother with the rest of the menu. Again, Kim was a fantastic Waitress. I was in Lincoln Square's parking lot and left in hopes that the local diner would be good... I was disappointed."

"My husband and I went here for lunch on a whim, not wanting fast food or a chain restaurant. It was by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our server Wendy was a sweetheart and took great care of us. All the staff seemed happy and kind. The food was phenomenal as well. We will be making this a regular stop for sure. We were full after our meals, but we were sure to bring a cinnamon roll home with us."

"To be fair, I think they are genuinely trying here. Unfortunately, their efforts have failed flatly across the board. The skillets are not served in a skillet; it was a barely steamed pile of vegetables mixed with cheap sausage and sprinkled with the pre-grated cheddar cheese from a bag that doesn't actually melt. The breakfast burrito was not a burrito. It was a very stale tortilla with the same ingredients as the skillet tossed into the middle and folded in half like a quesadilla. With more of the egg, bad sausage, and unmeltable cheese sprinkled on top. I couldn't even cut through the tortilla with my knife it was so stale. The hash browns were utterly unseasoned and the same color as my skin in winter- utterly without color. The coffee is barely fit for consumption, even when doctored with cream and/or sugar. We wanted so badly to enjoy another local restaurant but we will not be back."

"Today, Thurs. June 20, 2024 I am Changing my Original review from a 5 to a No Star. My husband I came today at 11:20 a.m. with our Church group of 12 men women. We looked around and there were lots of tables empty. The back where we usually sit as a group was empty. The waitresses Mgr. said they could not accommodate us. We would have to sit at tables scattered throughout the restaurant. (Yet there was a long table of 15 ladies in the middle enjoying their lunch). We had to walk back to our church bus in the hot heat we decided on the Flight Deck in Lexington. Our group leader made a call to them and they said they 'd be 'more than happy ' to have us! They let us have the very large, Perfect, nicely decorated back room!! It was nothing but POSITIVE results at the Flight Deck. Excellent Friendly Service, Awesome waitress, Delicious Food such a wonderful variety of many types of food! It was hard to choose which meal, as there was so much! The sides were hard to choose from because they ALL looked delicious! Easy parking shade too!! Much SAFER to get in and out of with Lunchtime traffic as well. It truly was a blessing in disguise that Creekside sent us away. Thank you, Creekside for the memories.. you Lost ALOT of LOCAL, EXCELLENT Generous TIPPING , good ol country folks. Dan Sue Q. "Everything here is good. The burritos, French toast, pancakes, burgers (and sauce), and whatever else they have, I promise it’s good. Only thing that I absolutely despise, is the Rockview brand orange juice is like 6 bucks. Cmon guys. That’s almost a whole star you lost on bottled OJ."

"Haven't been back to this place for a long time and things are nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Actually it was way better than expected. Place was packed on a Sunday at 1pm and we were a party of 10. They accommodated us within 15 min. They also got a party of 7 sat while we were waiting so they are great with that aspect. We sat and got all kinds of drinks including sodas for the kids that was almost never empty. Refilled my oldest Son every time he was empty. Took our large order and got every aspect correct which is great in this day and age of hard to find good staff. Food was all around good. Burgers were large, pancakes huge, they put a ton of scrambled eggs on the plate requiring them. My sister and bro-in laws salads were plentiful and they loved them. My GF got the crab and lobster cake Benedict which she loved. I got the breakfast burrito which was good and the homemade hash was tastey too. The 3 breads the put on the table to start were amazing and the desserts were real good too. Forgot to take pics of the food as it was my mother's bday so I was occupied. One negative is they have a large lot but it was full so 2 of the 4 cars we came in had to park in the street.Parking: Big lot but at busy times will easily fill up."

"We visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and I was quite impressed overall. It was amusing to watch the kids as they took off in planes and observed landings. I think sitting outside on the deck during the summer would be even more enjoyable. The food was tasty, and there was a great selection on the brunch buffet. The prices were reasonable too, with children's meals at $8.50 and adult meals around $16. I opted for the buffet for the kids. I also tried the Sully, a New York-style Reuben on marble rye bread, which was delicious. The fries were fresh, cut, and fried on-site. The service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot!"

"My husband ordered a cocnut chicken platter. It was a stickey clump of chicken pieces far and few that tasted like recycled kicken from the day before. I odered a tomato and avocado platter both stuffed. The tomato was so under ripe that it was hard to cut however, the tuna was tasty...The avacado was black and mushy but, the chicken salad was tasteless with too much mayo. My daughter also ordered a platter with an avacodo and salad. She had a similiar experience. The spring mix was very fresh and the dressing was ok. It was not what I was expexcting."

"My wife ordered collard greens, fried okra, and chicken gizzards and livers. She claimed they were the best she had ever tasted and praised everything as excellent. I opted for the turkey club with fries and had a go at their salad bar. The quality of the salad bar and my meal varied from average to quite good depending on what I chose. They prepare their own turkey for the club, and the only downside was that I requested light mayo, but the sandwich arrived with an overwhelming amount. The menu offers a wide selection, so everyone in your group is likely to find something enjoyable. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!"
