"I really like wine but there is just so much to choose from. The vin room has a large selection of choices but makes things a lot easier with sample tasting sizes and informative sommeliers. I usually stick to my tried n trues but felt adventurous since here with the sample tasting sizes... you can and a few more glasses at that!There us also a great selection of tapas which can be paired with your wines of choice. Overall this is a great place and did not find it pretentious. Amazing service as they were attentive but not overly so. Bonus points as we had a table of two next to a larger group which wanted to ask the waitress ti boot us to another table to make more room for them. The waitress politely refused as we were there first. Well done vin room!"

"Wonderful experience from beginning to end for four friends celebrating birthdays. Our server, Mario, was excellent as were the rest of the staff. The food was exceptional, we ordered: Camarones Al Ajillo, Coliflor Al Pimentón, Empanadas, Potatoes Brava, Pulpo A La Gallega, Burrata Stuffed Eggplant, Pizza Margherita, and Pizza Funghi, our drinks were perfect, and dessert, Chocolate Mousse Croccante, and the gelato with Bourbon was delightful. We will definitely return."

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"This place is kind of gross and bizarre. The sauce on the margherita pizza was really sour and sweet...? The artichoke bread was soggy and bland. If they're making fresh, neapolitan pizza, why does it look so cookie cutter and uniform? It just kind of looks and tastes like one of those make your own pizza chains. And if they've been in business for so long and specialize in pizza, why don't they have those pizza stacking racks for the table. It's really hard to share multiple pizzas when there's no room on the table. Sacramento is capable of making really great pizza and this just isn't it."

"They capped our time there @90 minutes without telling us until we were sat. The service was slow so by the time we got our food we felt rushed to get out on time. Before we even got our check they came over and started clearing our table “getting ready for the next guest” they need a better reservation system or cap the amount of reservations they accept because the whole vibe of our experience was thrown way off."

"EDIT: Happy Cow apparently doesn't allow 5 star reviews of non veg cafes, which is kinda BS IMO. I'd give 5 stars if I could. Alcehemy is 95% veg. I just happened to stumble across Alchemy online the other day. I'd never heard of it, or never noticed it I should probably say. It grabbed my attention though, so I decided to check it out with the wife yesterday (I'm vegan and she's vegetarian and like 98% gluten free FYI). The inside of the cafe looks good, and personally I enjoyed the chill music being played. We went on Sunday afternoon and barely anyone was there, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions, since it was our first time there we had a few. We ended up ordering quite a bit haha. Too start, my wife got the tomato bisque soup, and she absolutely loved it, and I thought it was quite creamy and tasty as well. I grabbed some curried chickpea salad, and oh... my... god... it was phenomenal. It reminded me of real potato salad, but chickpeas instead. Alexis, the co-founder of Alchemy, was there and after telling her how much I loved the chickpeas, she gave me her card for her website Hummusapien, which includes her recipe for the curried chickpea salad. I thought that was very kind of her. We each also got smoothies. I ordered the snickerdoodle and my wife got the peanut butter. I think I preferred the peanut butter, but both were good. These were the best smoothies I've ever had at a healthy/vegan cafe/restaurant. Usually they are really thick and heavy, but Alchemy uses a good amount of almond milk to really lighten them up a bit, which I prefer. For sandwiches, I got the bean burger (which didn't tasty very beany at all surprisingly). It came with a zesty' cashew mayo, and I think zesty is the right word. It wasn't too spicy or tangy, but had a good amount of... well, zest. My wife got the hummus and hemp pesto sandwich, which was creamy and crunchy, definitely what I want to order next time. Finally, we got a couple of the peanut butter no-bake cookie ball thingies. I thought they were good, the wife didn't care for them as much though. All in all, Alchemy is a spectacular find for us. We live in Grove City, so it's nice to have a place to go that isn't all the way on the north side of Columbus for a change. We will for sure be coming back. I hope Alchemy is doing well financially, because as a vegan, it's great to see vegan/mostly vegan places like this exist"

"I had been to this restaurant over 10 years ago and it was fine then. I went this evening for dinner and the place is clean and looks great. There was confusion with who was waiting our table, as we were asked by our waitress for our drink and appetizer order, but then asked again by someone different a few minutes later and gave them our dinner order. I ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp and for dinner the Basil Curry Seafood. The Fresh Spring Rolls came with two large rolls that were each cut in half and serves with the garlic chili sauce with peanuts. The roll tasted okay, but the shrimp almost looked like it was not completely cooked. The waitress asked if we would like peanut sauce for the rolls and we said yes. The sauce provided was not peanut sauce, but rather a warm curry like sauce without peanuts. It tasted okay, but did not really go with fresh spring rolls. Our dinner was delivered by a different person who came straight from the kitchen. He just set the food down and said here is this one and here is the other one. My sister and I had to investigate to find which curry was who's since did not even say which one was what. Also, the curry did not include rice. We did not realize rice must be ordered separate and the waiter did not mention it either. The waitress was kind enough to get an order of rice for us rather quickly though once we realized this. The curry was underwhelming in my opinion. Five minutes in, both my sister's and my stomach was hurting pretty bad, so we decided to get the check and go."

"Our experience sitting at the bar was excellent. The woman bartender really knew her stuff. The food came out quickly. We were serviced well. It all changed when we went to dine. The service person was very tentative in his demeanor and you could hardly hear him and it’s not because the place was too noisy. It was just him. He didn’t know the menu well. Had to ask him to check on information (ie: cut of beef) for us because he didn’t know the menu. Never came back and asked us how the food was after it had been brought. Never refilled the water. He was nice but inexperienced and not well trained. Also, probably not suited to a career in table service. My food was mediocre and not hot all the way through just at the bottom."

"Thank you TripAdvisor reviewers for recommending The Virginian! After a very long drive to Charlottesville, we were very hungry and we wanted to try a place that the UVA students go to. Eliza was our server and she was fantastic. For appetizers, my daughter had the famous mac n cheese (I tried some) and it was great. I had the potato soup and it was creamy and filling. For entrees, my husband had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes. He loved it. My daughter had the pimento grilled cheese and I had a veggie wrap. Both were great and came with perfectly cooked and seasoned french fries. For dessert we had root beer floats with the commemorative glasses as souvenirs. I would definitely go back to The Virginian in a heartbeat."

"Wonderful relaxed ambiance, romantic and great service. Offering general Mediteranean foods such as humus, we were more interested in the specifically Afghan dishes. Hubby adored the lamb shank with saffron rice. I found many vegetarian choices including Kudu (pumpkin w yoghurt available without meat), Sambosa (pastries with chick peas that remind me of British pasties, my favorite). The desserts were absolutely decadent. I had the mini chocolate cake and hubby had the custard flavored with cardamon and rosewater. Fantastic! I have already recommended Nora to 8 of my friends. We drove 1.5 hours to eat here but we will be back."

"I've been here a few times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"had a great dinner at the flour shop and they just got better. simply add the review to recognize our server leo he was perfect on a busy Saturday night! he was pleasantly helpful, made good suggestions, kept water glasses full, checked on us regularly without hovering, table was deleted, and no courses (wine, brot, app, entrees, dessert) came over each other. zero mistake! also large server will not always get everything right, leo did during a packed Saturday night service. exceptional, I was a server in a raised restaurant many years ago, so I guess great server like leo."

"I wanted to like this place. I love Tom Douglas' other restaurants but this one is a miss. The menu is a mish mosh of everything. There's no connection between any of the dishes, and all seem randomly picked in the dark. They're all very random. The arrabiata with octopus was meh. It felt like there was also a meat sauce within it? The noodles were tasty but the dish itself was altogether not great. The fried basil did nothing to enhance the dish. My husband's burger was well done and fully cooked through, and super dry."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"I and my wife were in Amis Trattoria in Westport on Saturday 15 October at 2:00. Only a few people were empty and almost all tables were free. We asked the manager for the table in a shadow (sunny day); Table was for 4 persons under all other free tables. The manager told us that despite empty restaurant, we should only use two tables. We realized that it was not worth, with unfriendly and unprofessional managers and just left. No longer come back with our friends or family. This is very sad that such an unqualified person who is at the position of the manager who distracts people from the use of this company. Better to have some profit than nothing."

"We had a party of 4 and sat in the atrium. It was a beautiful place with nice lighting. The dinning room is dark and seemed more of an intimate setting. The food was very good! We started with the tuna poké and brussel sprouts. Both were amazing and loved by all 4 of us. Our entrees were equally amazing. I had the buttermilk fired chicken. My fiancée had the risotto. Our friends enjoyed the gnocchi and steak frites. The service was fantastic as well. We showed up 20 minutes early for our reservation. They were able to seat us right away with a smile. Our main server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. Our empty plates were cleared quickly and our drinks reordered and filled quickly as well. All that came by our table were attentive and extremely polite. We will absolutely be back!"
