"The food was delicious. I got the Queenstown Farmer, with fried chicken as the meat option. It was so delicious. It came with 3 eggs- perfectly cooked, as I requested which was over-easy. It also came with a lovely buttered toast and some amazing strawberry jam. The wonderful thing about the strawberry jam is it seemed to pair nicely with both the chicken and the toast. What resulted was a lovely little assortment and combination of pairings. Sometimes it was the chicken and egg on toast. Sometimes it was chicken and toast with jam. It was a lovely setting, and they had heaters ready to go for a chilly day. I did spy a biscuit which I thought about buying as an addition to my meal. It was absolutely huge and fluffy and looked to come with that same strawberry jam. Ultimately, I am glad I didn't get it, as I wound up stuffed. My only ding was....the meal came with beans which I didn't want. So, I ordered it without them. It would have been extra-nice if the server had offered to bring extra toast or bring something else instead. That would have been a great touch. Now...I didn't want to be fussy or high-maintenance or anything, so I didn't specifically request anything extra. My attitude was that I would not order the beans, and if they offered something else, great...I'll take it. If not...fine. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again, or maybe try lunch next time."

"We were pleasant surprised at the new and wonderful menu at Saguaro Corners by the new owner, who has other restaurants in the Tucson area. We were skeptical going back, as a year or two ago we had eaten there and had substandard meals. There were three of us. We started with their Poppitos (jalapenos filled with meat and cheese, wrapped in bacon). The jalapenos were fresh and were not as hot as we thought they would be so delicious! All three of us loved our meals. The rib plate I had was fabulous some of the best ribs I have ever had. They were very tender and covered in a very tasty BBQ sauce. Six of the large ribs left plenty for take home (along with some of the ranch beans and creamy good cole slaw). Another one of us had the fish burger with house made chips it too was given high marks. Finally, the third of us had the Mac and Cheese, also which was delicious, and plentiful. It lasted three meals actually for them. Our waiter, Joshua, was attentive, friendly, and recommended drinks for us, which we liked. The retro restaurant offers wonderful views of the Saguaro National Park East with its wrap around windows in the dining room. There is plenty of outdoor dining with an indoor outdoor bar, great for beautiful days. Also, big screen tvs are viewable from all areas of the restaurant. There were a few local pals at the bar while we were there all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were treated to some pleasant entertainment by Angel Perez, a man with beautiful guitar music and a beautiful voice. Loved listening to him, and he wasn't that loud that he drowned out our conversations at our table. All in all, we were very pleased at the changes that have been made at this restaurant and can't wait to go back so we can try some of their scrumptious looking tacos."

"I had this place bookmarked after seeing my Yelp buddy Bruddah Brian M. write an awesome review about this place called Daiichi Ramen in the Kahala neighborhood.I 'll be honest, I 'm not really a ramen eater and rarely eat ramen unless its on a cold day in da 808, but what I do like is Japanese curry, and Daiichi Ramen does do curry.Located at the Ku 'ono Marketplace, you can find Daiichi Ramen just next door to the Lanikai Juice shop. The restaurant is well lighted, clean, and the restaurant itself has sorta of an L shape configuration, not a large sized restaurant, but not small either. We didn 't have to make reservations to come here to dine, but I would recommend coming here early if you don 't want to fight for parking in the Ku 'ono Marketplace parking lot.As I entered the restaurant, we were greeted right away got a table instantly. Menus and water were dropped after we were seated and after looking over the menu, I decided to get the Mochiko Chicken Curry on Rice.My homie ended up getting the Mapo Tofu on Fried Noodles. What can I say about the grub?I would say that my Mochiko Chicken Curry was pretty good, generous portions, but I wished they offered different levels of spiciness like the other curry places I 've been to in the past.As for my homie, he said that his Mapo Tofu on Fried Noodles was good too.Nothing like local style comfort food, and the prices here were pretty reasonable and on point. Now if you 're not into curry like me, Daiichi Ramen does offer salads, soups, fried rice noodle dishes, and of course ramen udon options."
