"This is the second time I Ha e been asked to write a review for Kingsley. 7 PM reservations on Saturday, September 22. Arrived after an $18 cab ride dropped off in front of the restaurant to find it pitchdark locked up nobody there. Another party of three arrived at the same time as my party they were celebrating her 60th birthday party only to find the restaurant closed not even a hand written sign on the door… never heard of such a thing I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I made the reservations this same issue happened in August."

"I had a great time at Harley’s Hideaway. Once you walk through the door you walk down a flight of stairs which gives you a true hideaway experience. I started off with the an appetizer of the poutine which was great, but I wasn’t too big of a fan ofthe cold cheese curds on it. Then I got the Rocky Balboa burger which is a philly cheesesteak on top of a burger. It is a messyburger but oh so worth it. The pork tenderloin was also a delicious sandwich. Lastly I got my dessert which was outstanding.Funnel.Cake.Fries. Ridiculously delicious, I highly recommend getting caramel to dip them in. I will return to try out the wingspecial on Wednesday that that bartender told me about. They also have comedy nights on Wednesdays too."

"I was extremely happy with this place for two reasons specifically— how attentive and welcoming the manager Nico was. I came here two days in a row and I’ve never seen a manager so involved with the flow of getting food out to the tables and providingexcellent service. He even recommended a spicy Korean barbecue sauce to go with my entrée which was absolutely amazing. I willcontinue to come here in the future. UPDATE 6/8/2022 at 4:30pm: Nico continues to amaze me with his service to not onlymyself but to other customers. His attention to detail to ensure everyone has a five-star dining experience is outstanding tosay the least. Give this man a raise! P.S. Our lady friend visiting from Finland now wants to marry Nico for offering her thegluten-free cookie and how friendly he is. She already ate half the cookie before I could take the picture."

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"The salads we ordered were fresh and delicious, but given the prices, I expected a more comprehensive service experience. The cocktails were skillfully made, and there was a decent selection of beers on tap. Other drinks were served adequately. The restaurant has a self-service setup, where you seat yourself, pay at the counter, and grab your own cutlery. The atmosphere was open and airy, with plenty of seating available. While this style may appeal to some, it didn’t quite suit my family and me."

"The food has always been good on my visits here. Meat and veggies are seasoned well and have great flavor. I absolutely enjoy the design of the outside, and the inside. The openness of the inside dining area also adds to the atmosphere here. My only issue has ever been service. The staff is always kind and courteous so it is not an issue with their demeanor. Practically every other time I do come here something on my or my family's order is incorrect. The staff fixes the matter when it's brought to their attention but it can be an issue if I'm in a hurry for lunch to go to work, an appointment or the nearby movie theater."

"Always go here for some self care time but this one was special. I was just sitting minding my own when the table broke where all my work/computer/most importantly coffee was. Rather than just pretend it didn't happen Sarah catered as best as she could. So much that she and the owners offered to buy me a new laptop charger since it did brake during that catastrophic moment. I go here often enough where I've realized they are all just really great individuals with the sweetest souls."

"Went there on Sunday 09.10.2023 and noticed a group that was upset. They were asking for a refund. The skinny guy in the red shirt said uhhhh yeah one minute. They said NO, we waited for an hour and we want a refund now. You never even brought his food out. The worker slowly paid the customer his ten dollars and change. I should have walked out right then. But against my intuition I decided to order a Rhema Club to go and asked the worker to bring it out to my booth fifty foot from their front door at my booth for Bikes on The Bricks. He said no, we are short staffed. I said OK I will come back in and get pick it up. He said come back in fifteen minutes. This was at 12:11p.m. time of sale on my receipt. I ended up having a customer stop by my booth and had a second to go back inside this terrible business at 12:46p.m.. When I walked up the worker said he did not have my sandwich, someone must have taken it. I can just give you refund. I said no, I am hungry. It has been 35 minutes and you originally said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I will take the food please. He said he did not have it. I asked him why it was not waiting there behind the counter. He said because we are short staffed. He said someone took it. I said fine, I will take a refund. As he was fumbling through the computer I was asking him why it hasn 't been prepared yet. He said I can 't process your refund while you are talking. So I held my hand out and said give me the refund now. Then he threatened to call the police on me because they were unable to complete the order in a timely fashion. What a sham of a business. That little skinny kid in the red shirt and his silly little beard should be fired immediately. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and either work there themselves or close their illegal **** poor false restaurant. 0 stars terrible experience the worker is a coward."

"I had a reservation for 12:00 at this restaurant. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. However, after waiting for 10 minutes, no server came to greet our table. While all the tables around us were receiving service, we continued to wait. After 20 minutes, then 35 minutes passed, and still no server approached us. We asked another server for help and were informed that our server had not yet arrived. At this point, we were considering leaving. Despite having a reservation and being there to celebrate a birthday, we finally flagged down another staff member and explained our situation. She apologized and took our order, but we never did see our assigned server. The food was decent and the entertainment was enjoyable, but overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. It was not a pleasant experience."

"This place has so much potential. Right on the water. Tons of restaurants, parking right across the street, beautiful views, splash pad and yard games, arcade and more... Sadly no one was using them. The place was a ghost town. We did go on a Monday at lunch, but right in the heart of downtown Norfolk it was shocking to see less than 10 other people hanging out. They have clearly invested a lot of money into what should be without a doubt a very happening spot, hopefully something changes and they get some life in the area. The ferry also comes directly to the location and there's a nearby light rail stop. Handicap accessible"

"The food is pretty good when you want something healthy. We work at WeWork and it’s right next door so we would go a lot. Everyone was always really kind until one night we had a very bad run in with a manager who was very rude she didn’t even remember us and we’d talked to her many times before but this day she decided to be just the worst. Also, when I ordered a tea I asked for a glass cup instead of a plastic one because I love the world and forgot my cup and you would have thought I asked for something so foreign. The cashier had to ask four other people, the manager came over, and the line was growing behind me, they very hesitantly gave me one about ten minutes later. We never went back after this night of the rude manager and cup issue."
