"we really thought the place was very nice and our server was very pleasant. I would say that overall it was good to eat, but the coq au vin was on the salty side and the brisket I had was very hard and difficult to cut much less chew. I am mentioned on the server that the brisket was very hard and his answer was that he could bring me a sharper knife. most of the brisket I had ever had was very delicate, so this was a little disappointing. the presentation of the squash soup and the apple cake with ice was very unique. I will definitely come back, but I think the bribery problem could have been treated a little better."

"My husband and I hosted a private wedding event for about 40 guests at Ripplewood. We were looking specifically to have a casual cocktail party, rather than a sit-down dinner, which was surprisingly difficult to find in this area. We were happy that Ripplewood offered the option, as we are big fans of the restaurant. (The dine-in experience gets a five-star review from me as well). The food and drink options were taken directly from their regular menu. The pork ribs and bao buns were major crowd-pleasers. The drinks were delicious and meticulously crafted. And the staff were accommodating in every single way, from setting up extra tables and chairs in the event space to letting us stay a little over time with a cash bar. Even the music was great. Can't wait to go back for a date night to relive that wonderful experience. Big thank you to Michael, who worked with us to put the event together. "I had heard great things about this place when they first opened. guess they don't care. Started with sitting waiting for menus for about 15 minutes finally got menus when waitress came to order and realized that we don't have menus. the water that tasted as if it came from a dirty rinse. order the pulpy app and a pizza. 40 minutes later the Brezel app came out with the pizza, but they were completely raw on the inside. pizza was in order, but could say they used frozen chicken fingers for their chicken parm to hide it, had to hear 2 youngs screaming at the tip of the lungs and betting on a golf game. will not be back and will not recommend anyone"

"The restaurant was located in a hotel, and even though we had a reservation, we were greeted with a "seat yourself" sign upon arrival. The food was excessively sweet, including the calamari and the apple and walnut salad, which oddly had no greens. There was only one waitress serving the tables, and she brought our drinks one at a time. Overall, we were not impressed."

"At my request, my family of four celebrated my birthday at this restaurant on a Wednesday evening. None of us had dined here before, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Everything exceeded my expectations! We were pleasantly surprised by the amuse bouche—a delightful one-bite Reuben-style sandwich that was simply delicious. My grilled lamb served with sautéed vegetables was a fantastic savory combination, and the presentation of my rich birthday tiramisu was phenomenal. The standout dish of the night, however, was my harissa-glazed shrimp appetizer, which offered a burst of intriguing flavors in every bite. Throughout our meal, we enjoyed exceptional service; our server was friendly and eager to answer all our questions. Overall, Hampton Winds is truly a gem!"

"I'm not sure what's been happening lately, but over the past couple of weeks, the quality and taste of the food have significantly declined, both for the baked goods and regular menu items. The prices remain the same, which makes it hard for me to justify spending my money when the food tastes just "okay," like anything else I can find anywhere else. I hope things improve soon!"

"I have to say, I was really sad to be disappointed by Paragon. It was my one meal in Portland on my drive through, and I'd done lots of research. Maybe I hit it on a bad day but the food was just not good at all. The setting is awesome, they had the garage doors open, and it was beautiful weather out which made the food a big let down. I had the French Dip sandwich terribly dry meat with zero flavor, and the jus which should have helped both of those problems was just as flavorless. I ate three bites and then sent it back. I ordered a side of the rosemary mac cheese instead it was fine I guess, but I was overwhelmed by the flavor of rosemary and the cheese sauce was pretty milky, which detracted from what could have been a great sauce if it were thicker/creamier. The highlight was the glass of Oregon wine and the nice weather. The server was nice and took the sandwich off my tab without me even asking but no one came to ask why I didn't like it or what the problem was. Paragon was a miss for me."

"Carmines pizzeria has been here on Graham Avenue for years in years. He used to just have literally a pizzeria and was now able to expand it into a big restaurant. The owner is a big sports fan so you'll see sports memorabilia and all TVs on sports channels especially when there's a big game or fight. It's settled in the wonderful Italian neighborhood of Williamsburg and everyone goes there the hipsters that have moved in the neighborhood and the Italian people that have been there for 70 years. The last time I was here I gave a surprise birthday party for my husband with 25 good friends and family. We got the private room in the back and had one long table. The food is always good the service is always attentive. A favorite for most people is called Sunday gravy it's a huge meal with meatballs and sausage and pasta with gravy. they keep your bread baskets full and they have a nice wine selection and of course the beer is always cold. The prices are decent it can be a little loud with the TVs and if there's a game going on there's lots of screaming. But it's a good Italian restaurant and a great place to try."
