"Our group ordered the “Crazy Breakfast”, which includes 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage, 2 Pancakes, and we added Red skin Potatoes on the side. Although I couldn't get my eggs poached, I was happy with them over easy. The food was delicious – the bacon perfectly crispy, the sausage flavorful with a nice crisp skin, and the pancakes light and fluffy. The potatoes were also cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and moist inside.
While The Big Egg offers starters, salads, sandwiches, and other entrees, I couldn't resist ordering the “Crazy Breakfast” again. The prices were surprisingly affordable – my breakfast was only $3.99 and the potatoes were $2.49 (enough for 2 people). The value for money was impressive.
The atmosphere at The Big Egg is basic, with minimal decor, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. I've sat at both tables and booths during my visits, and both were comfortable. The staff was accommodating, allowing us to join tables as our group grew to 12 people with separate checks. This level of service stood out to me.
Open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, The Big Egg is popular among bar-goers and families alike. Despite its long history (around 40 years), renovations have kept the restaurant looking fresh and modern. I highly recommend giving The Big Egg a try."
