"One day, while looking for a lunch spot, a friend had a craving for a fantastic sandwich. After reading some reviews, we decided to try Planker Sandwiches, and it was exactly what we were hoping for! This was the best sandwich I've had in months and definitely the highlight of our trip. Located in downtown Bend, Planker Sandwiches is a small place with a few tables inside, a couple outside, and a counter where you place your order. The menu is extensive and easy to read. You can find various sauces at the water station, along with a selection of bottled drinks. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality, freshness, and portion sizes. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for lunch. I ordered the tuna sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The sandwiches take a little while to prepare since they're made to order, and the toasted bread was both crispy and soft at the same time. We savored every bite while sitting at one of the sidewalk tables. My only regret is that we didn't have time to go back; I'm hoping to return on our next visit!"
