"Wow! The steamed BBQ pork buns here are incredibly soft, moist, and have a subtly sweet flavor. It's as if they took the light edges of fluffy clouds and filled them with delicious bits of sweet pork. The sauce, while brown instead of the usual red, is still really tasty. The pork chunks are perfectly moist, with just the right amount of fat to add flavor and juiciness.
The price is a bit steep, especially for a group, at $15.00 for 6 small buns. However, the quality is definitely better than what you’d find at local Asian market delis. For comparison, you can get 4-6 large buns to go for $8.00, which is enough to feed a crowd or share with a friend. Despite the cost, I really enjoyed the buns.
Oh, and don’t forget to remove the steaming paper from the bottom before you eat! Just a little tip!
When I arrived, I couldn’t see the name signage above the door, so I parked in the large lot to check the map. I found out that it’s located on the yogurt shop side of the lot, specifically the second shop to the right from the east entrance. It’s in a strip mall off Duarte Baldwin, next to a Bank of America ATM near the sidewalk."
