"Came in at 8pm- an hour before close. The girl at the host stand said “hi we close in an hour.” I said “okay, well it’s just me and my daughter. Can we still eat?” I really wish she would have just said no because she made the next hour really awful. She sat us down and turns out she was our waitress too. Wonderful. Every single time she spoke to us she mentioned how long it was before they closed. At about 8:20 she said I couldn’t order anything else because the cooks were cleaning the oven so me and my daughter got stuck splitting a meal. My daughter (she’s 4) started feeling sick and I wanted to leave but our waitress literally left and didn’t come back after that. I had to ask someone else for boxes and to find her so I could get the check. Theres no reason to treat someone so rudely just for wanting to get dinner. We didn’t see here for over 20 minutes and had been done with our meal for almost as long. By the time we got the check, We were literally cashing out at 5 minutes to 9. Our bill was 14 bucks and I tipped her 3 dollars and she was MAD. She literally rolled her eyes at me and snatched the money off the counter and shoved it in her pocket without looking up and said “next time please come in earlier because now I have all these tables to clean up” (note that there was another table with two men who cashed out right before us and another older man who is always there who cashed out after us but she didn’t say a word about it to either of them) It’s really upsetting because I’ve been coming here once a week with my daughter and friends for the past 3 months for the Greek food and the sandwhiches. I always leave tips that are 20 percent or more and I don’t stay that long. I was rushed out the door, treated like crap, and I’m so upset that this woman had some sort of chip on her shoulder the entire time we were there from the moment we walked in. I would never consider not tipping someone (maybe she had a bad day) but the comment at the end made me wish I didn’t! What kind of servers are you guys hiring here?!? I don’t even want to come back because of this experience"

"A pretty solid place for take out and standard Italian dishes. Good gluten free choices and the GF broccoli and cauliflower crust options on the pizza are also pretty tasty. I’ve also had pasta and wings here. Both are always pretty consistent. The staff here is pleasant when you call and they have your food, mostly, ready on time. I’ve been to the west Seneca location as well and the food is pretty seamless which is nice to know what you are getting. The portions are pretty big and a fair price for the price. After eating here I can look forward to having leftovers for lunch the next day. I just did a take out order and picked up a small pizza and Tuscan salads with chicken. The pizza was for someone else but it looked good and was hot when I picked it up. Overall the salads were nice. Lots of chicken and it had a decent amount of toppings and what seemed like a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. My only call out is that there were hardly any apples and they were a bit flavorless and brown. They had probably been sitting around awhile and they looked a bit sad. If I ordered this again I’d hope that there would be more fresh apples. Other than that the spring mix was fresh, the chicken was cooked well, and the blue cheese, apples, walnuts and dried cranberries went together nicely. I was happy that they didn’t put piping hot chicken in the salad like a lot of places do because by the time you get home the lettuce wilts. If you are in the area and need a decent meal, check them out!"

"If you are ever in the Boston area, just drive 15 miles south to Quincy, to have a MEMORABLE dining experience! It was hands-down, the BEST food we had in the area! If we were in Boston longer, we WOULD have had the rest of our meals at Tony 's! All my life I have had great seafood up down the West Coast, but NEVER did I have 'fried perfection ' like Tony 's! The fried clam strips, were so masterfully prepared, they were practically 'dry ' from cooking oil! I haven 't experienced THAT before, EV-AH (wink-wink ! It was also the tastiest clam chowder I have had in my life, LOADED with clams! I 'm not a great fan of sweet potato fries, but after sampling my husbands, I kept pinching them off his plate, here and there. . . They tasted caramelized inside, which made them delectable. SO delicious in fact, that I snagged one of the cooks and asked how they were prepared. He said that they fry them LONGER (very high heat to indeed caramelize them. I asked about the history of Tony 's, and he shared that Tony was Lebanese, and that (since he has passed away his family operates the restaurant as they have for decades. What a wonderful INSTITUTION Quincy has! : The restaurant itself is very clean, organized and there is outside dining on a beautiful patio, facing the sea. Sigh. I realize that different cooks on different days, can give different results. And I had read a couple reviews from a few 'soreheads ' that weren 't happy with their meal, but that is the EXCEPTION and not the rule apparently. I 'm seriously thinking about inquiring if they ship overnight, because there 's nothing on my side of the country that compares to it."
