"This is the first time I have ever been here with a bunch of people and this place is pretty fancy. It's got that old fashioned 1960s feel to it. It makes sense because it became a business since 1964 on Forest avenue in Staten Island. Then in the next year, Egger's added three more locations 1. Historic Richmond Town 2.Urby 3. Snug harbor. They also have a website explaining the history of Egger's. They don't only sell ice cream. They have candy too. The owner of that store told us the history of this place and how it came to be. They also have different flavors of ice cream. They had strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and much more. I asked if they had coconut and they did. It was coconut almond fudge with toppings such as crunchies, sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles. I tried their ice cream and it was good. It only cost $8 but I bet a cost way more or less. Maybe next time if I wanted something sweet,I'll get something from here. And don't worry they take cash and credit."

"The wait time was terrible, the service was terrible, and the staff was rude. We ordered soup, chili chicken, and chana batura on a weekday at 6:30 pm. The soup and chili chicken arrived, but we had to wait 40 minutes after finishing them for the main chana batura. When we asked for the reason for the delay, the person in charge rudely said it takes time and they have many deliveries. We wanted to cancel our order, but he didn't even apologize. We had a 2-year-old with us who was also frustrated and started getting fussy waiting for the food to arrive. I would never return to this place or recommend it to others."

"We are longtime LEYE fans and love Beatrix. But, for us, the volume of the high energy music played on the patio interferes with having an enjoyable meal. I don’t think we’ll be back to Beatrix’s patio. Sumerhouse and Oakville (both of which we have visited this summer) are better options for us. Today, we also found the music across the street at Publican was more consistent with enjoying a nice meal. Yet, we appreciated the food and wonderful service we enjoyed today. Our only problem (which we made known politely three times) was please lower the volume. They did following the third request to a level that still allowed the music to be enjoyed. For that, thank you."

"Orange bloosom has pistachios and is my favorite. I enjoy eating ice cream that taste like your eating flowers. The pistachios is an added special treat. Reminds me when I was a kid I use to chew on rose petals. I like rosewater. The herbal snow with rosewater is delicious. Turkish coffee no where else in LA this good. Rosewater Saffron with Pistachios hummy. Pomagranete refreshing. My son ordered two scoops: he enjoyed the strawberry and green tea. He said they individually were exceptionally delicious. He would not have combined, he said they don't complement each other however they are his favorite flavors and said by themselves are exceptional. He said the strawberry was like infused with so much flavorful strawberries that he had never had a strawberry ice cream anywhere else like he did at Maschti Malone's."

"I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because my past experiences have been wonderful. However, when I recently placed an order online and went to pick it up, the lights were off, the door was locked, and there was no note explaining why. I emailed them to request a refund but never received a response. It appears that they may no longer be open, but they have not updated their status on Yelp or social media. This could potentially inconvenience customers who are driving out of their way to visit the restaurant."

"I had another delightful meal at Cake Walk. This was my fourth visit, and I will definitely come back. The masala dosa was spicy and fresh, while the medhu vada was also fresh but not overly greasy, unlike what you might find at lesser establishments. The savory dishes were outstanding, but the highlight for me was the mango cake—it was wonderfully delicate, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness. I've never tasted anything better. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional."

"The Japanese green tea was so good I bought some to take home, along with a delicious variety of cake balls. My bagel and cream cheese were fine. One potential down side is limited seating. If, like me, you're driving a significant distance (40 min. from home) to meet someone to chat and catch up, understand you may or may not get seating at their very few tables, which could really negatively impact your experience. We got lucky. The people who came in immediately after us didn't. If you do take out, it won't be an issue. The other downside is the interior decor is dated and the flooring is in disrepair, so the ambiance isn't congruent with the charming exterior. Don't go for the ambiance; go for the baked goods and drinks."

"Here is my experience at Stoppers. Founded in the 1980s and nothing changed except the prices. The smell when you walk in is kind of like a place where someone smoked in there the other day plus seafood. Everything has that old look and is tacky/sticky to the touch. They don't have many beverage options and it would be nice to offer sparkling water or even club soda, but the water tasted ok. The food, I felt was mediocre. It wasn't too bad but wasn't too good either. Things were really not seasoned at all and could have used more flavor. Overall, I am surprised how packed it is every weekend which is why we decided to try it. I would say the value was so/so. For the money, there are way better restaurants in the area. "I dont know what I expected regarding the food, but I expected a little more. I know people really like this place but it's really just ok. The service is outstanding. I can't debate that at all. But the food was merely ok. Well this is for me anyway. We had roja and Verde salsa, and white queso. My wife loved her queso, but the salsas were not great I've had better. The roja salsa was decent with a very slight kick. The Verde had an odd taste to me that I couldn't take. It seemed to be to much lime or cilantro in it. We did have entrees. I had the 3 fajita steak tacos with a side of rice. The tacos were really good. They seasoned everything in those tacos. The rice was heavy on the lime and cilantro as well. I had to add hot sauce to eat it. My wife really liked her taco salad. The ingredients were fresh and the lime vinegarette was good as well. The only issue was the shell that held the salad was very greasy as if they didn't let it drain enough. The service was great. Like I always so check it out and let me know what you think."

"Best malts, shakes anywhere. We were in town over the weekend and did not have time to enjoy a meal at Elliston Place, but we did have time to get a chocolate malt -- for me -- to go. Hadn't been to Elliston Place in quite some time. Completely different staff of course. Younger. I went ahead and ordered my malt at a cost of around $5.50, including tax. I wrote in another review that I would never get a malt that cost $5, but in the case of Elliston Place, we'll make an exception! Young girl around 20 years old started to make my malt. One thing I can't stand is when people make chocolate shakes with chocolate ice cream. So I just wanted to make sure she was going to make it properly: vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, milk, malt powder. She said, "I know how to make a chocolate malt." OK, fine. I watched her assemble it just the way you are supposed to. A chemist could not have assembled more correct proportions of each ingredient. I have chocolate malts everywhere, but this one is the best I've ever had. It was thick all the way to the bottom of the large cup. Worth every cent. -----30 Oct, 2010----- One of my favorites anywhere. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. As another reviewer said, the milkshakes are the star here. They are great, made with Nashville's Purity ice cream. However, I think the food is very good, too. Classic diner burger. I've tried the veggies and they are quite good. The atmosphere is just about without equal."

"The greatest lunch or dinner deal in Canton, Ohio right now is the $5 Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries carryout deal at Milk Honey. You can choose between the Bacon Cheeseburger or 2 Coney-Dogs, both with fries for the amazing $5 takeout deal. Nothing in town comes close to being such a great quality burger, especially at such a reasonable price. A flat-top cooked 'smashburger ' with a bun toasted in the bacon grease on the grill, fresh crisp lettuce with onion and/or tomato free upon request. I promise you can 't find a better tasting sandwich (wity fries)for anywhere near that price anywhere else in Canton. "I just witnessed a very unhygienic woman at the cash register preparing burgers with her long nails and bare hands. She was contaminating the counter like crazy, which is completely unacceptable for food preparation. When I asked her why she wasn't being hygienic, she responded with a terrible attitude, claiming that she was being careful, but I could see for myself that she wasn't. I requested a refund and left, feeling utterly disgusted. I had wanted to try their burgers, but if this is their food preparation method, I will never eat there. It's shockingly unclean! With long nails dipping into the condiments right at the register while helping customers, it's truly alarming. The health department needs to step in and provide this place with some guidance on proper food handling practices."

"I prepared my home for the kitten, fully expecting to bring her home as planned. When the appointed time arrived, I had it marked on my calendar, only to find that I had been stood up. I was told to call back to reschedule the appointment. To my surprise, I learned that she had approved another applicant without informing me when I first inquired about my application status, which she had confirmed. When I brought this to her attention, she claimed I must have spoken to someone else, despite the fact that I had been in direct contact with Alexis during all my calls. I am incredibly disappointed and upset. If you’re considering adopting a kitten here, be cautious — they might give the kitten to someone else without notifying you."

"I would consider this a step above fast food as far as quality and service. I ordered online and when I arrived 20 minutes later, they were still working on my order and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes, but I can’t be upset with them because not only was the lobby busy when I arrived, their drive through was literally spilling out of their lot and into the street. They were very friendly even though it looked as though they were in the midst of the mother of all rushes. I came back a few weeks later and got the same order- jalapeño pepper jack grilled cheese, fries, and mozzarella sticks. They were far less busy at this time, service was still friendly and waited far less time for my food. Both times my food was the same. The sandwich was excellent along with my mozzarella sticks. Unfortunately my fries left a lot to be desired. They were cooked well and had good texture and perfect golden brown color, but they had no seasoning at all. Overall, this is one of my go to spots when I’m in town and I know I will return time and time again. Vegetarian options: A majority of their sides are meatless, they do have grilled cheese options, both very good, and needless to say all ice cream and shakes are vegetarian friendly. Parking: There was plenty of parking both times I went here. Regardless of how busy they were, I did not struggle to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu."
