"The host was extremely rude on the phone, consistently grunting and speaking negatively to me. Eventually, he pretended the phone connection was lost and couldn't hear me. I will not be ordering from here again due to the disrespectful behavior. Additionally, charging $8 for a side of spicy mayo is outrageous. It seems like YAMA is trying to take advantage of its customers. It is concerning that the shrimp tempura roll costs more than the toro roll. This is a major red flag."

"Our cook was rude and talked disrespectfully to an 87 year old mother. It was brought to his attention and he was asked to apologize and he said he did nothing wrong and said we can just get someone else to cook our food. The waiter accidentally dropped a plastic bowl on the grill and it melted. They tried to clean it but did not get all of it. We brought it to the attention of the waiter and he said when cook come out he would clean it. He came out and the mother stated after he attempted to clean it that it was still not clean. She stated she was not going to eat any food cooked on it. He then got nasty and stated he didn?t understand English. I asked for the manager and he stated that is just the way they talk and he did not mean any harm and asked that we accept his apology on behalf of the cook. The cook did not cook our food properly and did not do any of the entertainment generally done. We wete there to celebrate a birthday and it was ruined. No one enjoyed their food. Never again! On top of that we had a service charge added that we were not aware of. We were forced to pay for bad service. We were a party of 8."
