"I was looking forward to trying this place as the owners also own an excellent bagel store as well as Marvis Diner which is great. However, I was disappointed with my order and probably won't go back again. I ordered Mussels Posilipo for $15. The sauce was delicious and the mussels tasted good but out of the measly 11 mussels included in this dish 2 of them were not even opened so I had to discard them. So I had 9 mussels for $15 with a small piece of bread. I also ordered eggplant parmigiana for $26. The portion was very small with just a slice of eggplant on top of what tasted like generic boxed pasta. At this price and with a name like Pasta Pesto I would expect homemade pasta or a bronze cut quality pasta at the very least. The salad was swimming in dressing and soggy. The bread was decent and the homemade herbed butter was tasty. Overall the taste was good but I would expect bigger portions and better quality for the price."
