"A "scoop" of ice cream at this shop is only about 1.5 tablespoons. I could barely see any ice cream peeking over the top of the waffle cone. I managed a half-smile when the young girl handed me my cone, but I was thinking, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” I wanted to voice my concern, but the expression on her face said it all: “Don’t even bother; that older lady at the cash register won’t let me give you more.” So, I took my waffle cone with a small hint of huckleberry ice cream tucked away in its depths and stepped out into the crisp mountain air. Perhaps they were running low on ice cream, or maybe it was a subtle nudge for me to consider shedding a few pounds. If you’re in the mood for a plain waffle cone, then this shop is fine to visit. However, if you’re craving a proper scoop of ice cream, I’m sorry, but I cannot recommend this place."
