"If you read nothing else, just know this place is amazing. Vietnamese food is so hard to get right because the only way to get some of the authentic ingredients is to make them yourself and that's hard, time consuming, and takes a lot of skill. This place makes everything in house and it shows! The first thing I order at any Vietnamese restaurant is a Banh Mi because I want to see what kind of bread they are using. It's my litmus test. Are they using a store bought generic roll, is it a local french baguette, or did they go the extra mile in making a fresh rice flour Vietnamese baguette? If you've ever had a Vietnamese baguette, you know how perfectly light and crispy it is compared to its french relative. Without hyperbole, this place makes the best Vietnamese baguettes and best Banh Mis I've ever had outside of Vietnam. I even tried to buy a few extra baguettes to take home with me.Once the Banh mi hit it out of the park, I knew I was in for a treat as we explored the rest of the menu. Their Pho broth is exceptional. You don't even need to add hoisin sauce. It packs a serious flavor punch. Do yourself a favor and next time you're craving Asian food stop here. If you're driving by RDU, make a pitstop. If it's a rainy day and you want some soup, this is the place. And no matter what, get an extra Banh mi for later."
