"Last night, we ordered the Honey BBQ Panini, Jersey Pork, and Home Fries with Gravy and Cheese. Here’s what we thought:
The Panini was disappointing. The chicken was dry and flavorless—it felt like it might have been in the vicinity of some BBQ sauce at one time, but it never made contact. The sandwich was primarily made up of Home Fries, which were more like diced, oily potatoes rather than actual fries; I doubt they were ever fried at all.
As for the Jersey Pork, it was bland and just about edible. The Home Fries with Gravy and Cheese were similarly lackluster—just oily diced potatoes with no evidence of frying whatsoever. I'm not sure if the oil was meant to stand in for gravy, as there was none to be found, and while there was some cheese, it too was bland.
To top it off, there was no BBQ sauce on the BBQ panini, no frying on the Home Fries, and no gravy in the gravy and cheese. Additionally, given the name "Paradiddle," I expected some sort of drumming or music-related theme, but there was nothing of the sort. The only positive aspect I can mention is that they were open."
