"My boyfriend and I came in here on Thursday night for an impromptu date night. We made a reservation but did not need to. It was not needed. The place was not packed. However, the music was VERY loud. I had trouble hearing my conversation across the very small table over the loud music. My boyfriend ordered an old fashioned. Probably our first mistake was not ordering a glass of wine. He was not keen on the little cubed ice that was in his old fashioned. Second drink was a bourbon, neat. Can’t really mess that up. The sautéed shrimp were delicious and not over cooked. The Lamb Bourguignon was overpowering on the sauced flavor and less lamb flavor. For $20 I would have much fathered tasted more lamb and less…. Whatever they wanted to call it. Not a bourguignon for sure. Our serve was sweet, attentive and never left me searching for him. But he didn’t hover annoyingly either. He was wonderful. The host, just as kind and welcoming when we first arrived. I will return to try other dishes in the future."
