"Simple Saturday dinner out. We know Bertucci’s will always be consistent and good. Very impressed by the young woman manager. We could tell they were a bit short-staffed, but we know that is often a part of dining out nowadays so it was not a concern to us. This young woman never stopped moving, from station to station and task to task. Always with a smile and an upbeat disposition. Shortly after we ordered with one of the wait staff, she stopped by to check on us. I had forgotten to order something with my meal and asked if it was still possible to do so. Without skipping a beat she said, “Anything is possible” with a smile and went off to make it happen. Perfect answer, even on a night when the crew was working hard to keep up. Overall an enjoyable visit. Great staff experience."

"I had a nice conversation with a man, I'm not sure if he was the owner or a long-time worker, but he was cheerful and made me feel better. The pizza was delicious, although I wish the air conditioning had been turned up because I was quite sweaty. Despite what everyone I know says about Riches Pizza in Deer Park, I found this pizzeria in North Babylon to be amazing. The sauce tasted fresh, the cheese was savory, and the best part was the satisfying crunch when you bit into the pizza. If you're looking for good pizza, be sure to stop by here. "My family and I visited the restaurant on New Year's Day in 2024 between 4-6pm. Our waitress and the rest of the wait staff were fantastic, and the food was excellent. However, the kitchen manager, who appeared to be a shorter, grey-haired gentleman, was incredibly obnoxious and irritating. He was constantly micromanaging his staff in the open kitchen, loudly reading off orders and demanding things immediately. It made for an unpleasant dining experience, especially considering the restaurant was not overly busy. I felt sorry for the staff who were clearly working hard and couldn't cook any faster than the kitchen equipment allowed. If the kitchen manager continues to harass his employees who are already doing their jobs, it's likely that many of them will quit."

"Stopped in with my parents to grab a quick lunch. We figured we grab a quick slice but after 1 glance at the menu we knew we were ordering more than pizza. We started with some fried artichokes and baked clams. Both dishes came in the most delicious sauces that we happily sopped up with the bread they served when we sat. Next we got an order of the Calamari Siciliana which were perfectly cooked calamari topped with broccoli rabe, cherry peppers and a sprinkle of Gorgonzola. My taste buds were dancing, it’s the type of dish you go back for. After the apps we weren’t really hungry for heavy pizza so the Thai chicken pizzette served on the the thinnest and crispiest crust was perfect!! We ended up taking most of the delicious pasta home after a few bites we were so full. The pesto rosso was delicious with chicken and a flavor sauce of red sauce mixed with pesto. So much more than pizza. Gino’s is a true hidden gem!!"

"The owner changed the salad menu. Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken that are used to cranberries and walnuts, a good amount of salad green and gorgonzola. Walked on no cranberries and no walnuts, barely salad green, less chicken and gorgonzola and tomato slices with the core. All this cut back and price increase! It won't go back!"

"After waiting 15 minutes, someone finally came to take our drink order, and we received our drinks about five minutes later. However, it took another 10 minutes before they returned to take our food order. We placed our orders, and shortly after, the waitress dropped off some breadsticks. My house salad arrived, but I had to ask for silverware. Instead, she took our glasses for refills and never brought the silverware. We waited another 15 minutes, during which the waitress passed by our table three more times without making eye contact, even when I tried to signal for silverware. The noise at the bar made it difficult to speak up, so I leaned back in my chair with my arms crossed, clearly showing my frustration. Still, no silverware arrived. Finally, we decided to leave and stood up. Another waitress came over and asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned we were leaving because of the lack of service, we inquired about the drinks' cost. She returned with our bill and told us not to worry about it. After spending an hour there, we had only received drinks and a salad that we couldn't eat without silverware. This was a very disappointing experience for my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. If you're going to position yourself as a high-end restaurant with premium prices, perhaps you should treat your customers as though they matter. A simple acknowledgment of being behind schedule would have sufficed. Ignoring customers is not the solution."

"If I could give this place a zero, I/ we would. We had an AWFUL experience. We phoned in a takeout order and waited at the restaurant for over 40 minutes. Staff/ Service was not responsive when asked about our order numerous times while waiting. After waiting 40 mins, we had to leave and didn 't have more time to wait. The staff was unfriendly and nonresponsive when asking questions about my takeout order. While waiting for the order, we eventually had to go; I was told I could have it undercooked as they told me) and started to box up. I asked for my money back, and they wanted to give me a store credit. I 'm never planning on returning. It ruined our night when we tried to stop in to get an order. They were rude, and the place was not even busy, which they made us still wait. Save yourself and try somewhere else. There are plenty of other good choices on Main St. Who value their customers."

"Devens Grill was a nice surprise, I didn't realize this restaurant was even here. We had four for dinner and each one of us ordered something different. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, not too distant nor too overbearing... just the right of amount of attention during our visit. All the meals were very tasty, my sliced sirloin was ordered med rare requested more towards rare than med) but came out closer to medium. It was covered in a light mushroom sauce and was very tender and tasty regardless of the minor overcook. Will definitely come back would like to sit out on the patio it looked lovely. Thanks!"

"My SO declared, This is the best Bertucci 's we 've been to. The pizzas were cooked to perfection with a crisp crust. The Caesar salad was crunchy with a zesty, creamy dressing. We all agreed Isaiah was an excellent server. He brought warm rolls, olive oil, and butter immediately and the kids dug right in. He was patient while the family decided among the many toppings. We finally chose mushroom, eggplant, and artichokes on one and a combination of Sporkie and meatball on the other. The girls were impressed that Isaiah carried both large pizzas at the same time. He checked back several times to see if we needed more rolls, water, or napkins. Eating out with three young children can be unpredictable; we had a fun evening thanks to the casual atmosphere and friendly, attentive service."

"The service was good, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a 16-inch pizza and 10 wings for $38. The wings tasted like they were from Costco, both in appearance and flavor. The pizza was significantly undercooked, with cold toppings that didn’t even seem to have been heated. While the waitstaff were friendly, they were slow to check on our meal. We struggled to eat the soggy, undercooked pizza and ultimately couldn’t finish it. They offered to cook it longer, but that didn’t improve the situation since the dough had already absorbed all the grease and oils from the cheese. They seemed surprised when we opted not to take home over half of the pizza."

"We've been enjoying Trento since they opened in 2013 and it was my parents favorite restaurant. The staff are super friendly (they always remembered my parents favorites) and the food is always great! We've celebrated so many special occasions with Trento birthdays, lunch gathering after wakes and just for no special reason, each time was a guaranteed great meal! I've been there twice in the last two weeks, the first time for a nice, leisurely lunch with my brothers and then dinner this past Friday night with some friends visiting from NYC. "Edited my review for the second and last horrible experience. 2 months ago I was sadly disappointed by an ?antipasto salad? made by NY pizza, and I had talked to the owner who insisted that it?s just the way they make it, which I can except, and he asked me to give them another chance, which I decided to do today and now regret. I ordered an XL pizza, buffalo chicken salad and a large order of garlic knots. The pizza is good per usual, salad was less then mediocre, but the knots were disappointing. The vegetable/ olive oil blend was old and the knots were really doughy and mushy. There was no fresh garlic, just burnt garlic at the bottom of then pan. I called and politely told them that they were disappointing and asked for a refund. The guy I talked to was very defensive and rude and told me he made them himself. I decided not to argue and told him I would bring them back for a refund which I did. When I arrived he told me not to bother coming back to their establishment because of this (I?m sorry, am I the one who messed up the food? and I responded by telling him to cook better food and learn to take criticism better. He was still very rude and kept saying things I chose to ignore, and even continued to run his mouth as I was leaving, telling me to leave another review online, so here I am. I feel badly for the family that was dining in your establishment while you chose to embarrass yourself and everyone around you by your immature reaction. To tell someone that they are no longer allowed there because you made a mistake and can?t handle the criticism is very unprofessional. But don?t take it from me, there are plenty of other people who have taken the time out of their day to also comment about how horrible the food can be. I suggest you take an extra 5 minute drive down 611 and go to bartonsville and try Franks Pizza. They gave great food and amazing service unlike this place. To the rude guy behind the counter, I hope you find peace in life. Original review: Food is typically good but I ordered an antipasto salad that is not antipasto. It?s green leaf lettuce with tomato red onion cucumber and carrot and then a SMALL amount of deli meat. Extremely disappointed. How can you call this antipasto? I also ordered a large pizza with half mushroom. How are you going to charge almost $2 for a HALF topping but not even put it on half the pie?"

"This is one of my top favorite restaurants! I have been dining here for over 30 years and can confidently say that I have never had a disappointing meal. However, my absolute favorite dish is their cheese lasagna - it is incredibly delicious and melts in your mouth. The portion size is also generous, providing enough for two satisfying meals. "They took care of of the issues by not charging us for returned meals. But honestly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Martini olives were putrid. So much for a $10 martini. They changed out the olives for my second martini and those too were foul tasting. S Grouper tacos fish was foul. Tasted of ammonia. Returned. Got a burger. It was good. Friend got a Ceasar salad for $14 that was lame and peaked. I hope management rights this ship or it’ll capsize."
