"We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic ambiance of this restaurant. The service was excellent, though the food was just average. I ordered the pulled pork on Texas toast, but I had to add quite a bit of Carolina sauce since the pork lacked a smoked flavor and was somewhat bland. On the other hand, the fried corn on the cob was outstanding. The coleslaw was average in my opinion, but my husband really enjoyed the baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Overall, the service was top-notch, and we had a pleasant and cozy experience. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous."
