"I have ordered delivery twice from this place. Both times the food came well packed and without any spills. I also wasn't missing any items. The first time i ordered a shrimp egg roll, wonton egg drop soup, three regular roll special, general tso's chicken combo dinner and orange chicken combo dinner. The shrimp egg roll is absolutely delicious. I would order that over and over again. The wonton egg drop soup is not that great. I wouldn't order it again. The wonton's themselves are really thick. For the rolls i ordered the crunchy spicy kani roll, the spicy crunch shrimp and the shrimp tempura roll. All three were absolutely delicious and filling. Both the general tso's and orange chicken had great flavor but by the time it arrived, it wasn't crispy anymore. I tried to recrisp it in the toaster oven and that didn't work. The second time i ordered fried dumplings, the grasshopper roll, kai roll, shrimp tempura roll, sweetheart roll and stir fried udon with beef. The fried dumplings tasted exactly like the wonton's i had in my soup during my first order. The dumpling skin was too thick and the beef looked and tasted the exact same way as the wontons. I wasn't crazy about them. The grasshopper roll i would order every single time, it was lobster salad, crab meat, shrimp, mango, avocado, asparagus, lettuce wrap, rice paper with avocado and caviar in yuzu wasabi sauce. The lettuce did get a little wilted during transit but it didnt impact the flavor at all. Very delish. The kai roll has spicy tuna, avocado and shrimp tempura inside a green soy paper. The outside has lobster salad and caviar. Another roll that i would order again. Very Very good. My husband ordered the sweet heart roll which was really pretty. Inside it has crab meat, cucumber, avocado, spicy tuna and crunchh wrapped in a pink rice paper topped with raw fresh tuna. I tried it and the tuna was very fresh. This roll is absolutely delicious but should only be ordered if your into raw fish. You can definitely taste it. Lastly, the beef udon. The sauce was very light BUT the flavor was there 100 percent. So delicous, so filling, so flavorful. I think we will certainly be ordering this specific dish again soon. It was that good. Overall we were so much happier with our second order from here. I think going forward we will continue to try different rolls and dishes from the stir fry section. I will absolutely continue to order from this place. i highly recommend it."

"Revisited in June 2024, haven't been back since the remodel. Minami Sushi in Streamwood offers a serene, clean and casual dining experience with minimal modern design. Their menu boasts a variety of sushi, tempura, and noodle dishes, hot and cold appetizer selections and daily lunch specials. Our experience began with a refreshing house salad featuring iceberg lettuce, carrot shavings, and cherry tomatoes in a delightful citrus ginger dressing. Our server, Tammy, was thoughtful in guiding us through gluten-free options. I opted for the Tasty Ex and Loco Tako rolls, both safe choices for those with allergies. The Tasty Ex, with its layers of salmon, yellowtail, and spicy tuna, topped with a medley of spicy mayo and wasabi mayo, provided a subtle yet delicious kick. The Loco Tako roll, while visually stunning, requires a thoughtful approach to fully appreciate its flavors, especially the spicy octopus topping. Neither roll was too spicy for me. My husband enjoyed the Tekka Don, a generous bowl filled with mushrooms, tamago, tuna, seaweed salad, radish, and seasoned rice. The varied textures and flavors made for a satisfying dish, though we both wished for more gluten-free options to enhance our dining experience. Overall, Minami Sushi offers a talented staff, tranquil ambiance and delectable dishes, but could benefit from expanding their gluten-free offerings to accommodate a wider range of dietary preferences. Since there were few gluten free options, I may come back for the rolls I was able to eat. There are no desserts on the menu, so if I had to suggest one I think a simple ice cream or fruit to cleanse the palate would suffice! (Previous review: Not a mind blowing experience and just okay. Seems to gather a large lunch crowd. No gluten/dairy free notes on menu. Completely unaware about food allergies! Would not likely come again. I had a couple bites of the dragon roll and was not excited or tasty. It was bland and just okay. The booths had taped up seats and seemed a little unclean)."

"Blue Ginger Asian Fusion in Stamford, CT, is a hidden gem that truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. From their extensive menu, I had the pleasure of trying six delightful dishes that left me thoroughly impressed. To kick off my meal, I started with the Chicken Satay, which was a perfect blend of succulent grilled chicken skewers marinated in a flavorful sauce. The tender meat paired beautifully with the accompanying peanut dipping sauce, creating a harmonious combination of sweet and savory.Next, I indulged in the Beef Scallion Pancakes, which were an absolute treat. The pancakes were crispy on the outside, revealing layers of tender beef and aromatic scallions within. The dish had a wonderful balance of textures and flavors, making it a true delight to savor.Moving on to the sushi selection, I couldn't resist trying the California Roll. It was a masterful creation, featuring fresh and creamy crab meat, avocado, and cucumber perfectly wrapped in a delicate sheet of nori and rice. The flavors blended harmoniously, and each bite was a delightful burst of umami. For the main course, I opted for the Pad Thai, a classic Thai dish that never fails to impress. Blue Ginger's version was exceptional, with tender rice noodles sautéed with shrimp, tofu, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. The balance of tangy tamarind sauce, subtle sweetness, and aromatic spices made this dish a standout. To cleanse my palate, I ordered the Spinach Salad, which offered a refreshing interlude. The vibrant green spinach leaves were complemented by a light and tangy dressing, creating a perfect balance of freshness and zest.Lastly, I couldn't resist trying the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The combination of perfectly ripe mango slices and sticky coconut-infused rice was simply divine. The dish was beautifully presented and had a delightful blend of sweet and tropical flavors that left me craving for more.In addition to the incredible dishes I experienced, the service at Blue Ginger Asian Fusion was attentive and welcoming. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions. "This place has probably the chillest vibe on a Saturday for any ayce sushi place in Vegas. Soundtrack of easy listening hits and comfortable booths. Menu is abundant with options including apps and rolls not offered elseware. Perhaps my favorite thing about this place though is that you can get a half roll of up to 2 specialty rolls per person, which allows you to try more variety. My favorite was the Leonardo Special 2, which has shrimp tempura with spicy crab and torched beef on the outside and was topped with a spicy garlic ponzu and crispy onion. It was a truly unique complex flavored and textured roll that I haven't seen elsewhere. One of the things I did not particular enjoy in comparison to other places is that they still garnish with sesame seeds but it doesn't say it on the menu. All the apps that we tried were delicious and I would totally order again because they offer smaller 2 or 3 piece portions as well as normal size ones, which I also haven't seen offered elsewhere. The service by the servers was a bit lacking not in friendly or enthusiasm but they seemed overworked perhaps due to limited staffing. It resulted in my plate of sushi being needed to made three times until it was correct due to the sesame garnish that I couldn't have due to my allergy that I mentioned on the first delivery. They were super apologetic but I just felt bad about wasting food as my friend had already eaten the first one delivered. There were also items ordered that we needed to check on as they were never delivered to the table. I'd come back for the specialty rolls and apps but be mindful to be a bit more aggressive upfront about allergy to avoid food waste."

"let me begin by reminding our waitress, she was amazing. let's go to the experience itself. this place was influenced by the kovid strong as well as personal lack, but they are amazingly fast. they can have some experiences with inaccuracies with their orders even during eating. be patient! I believe at least from our first experience here they had only one cook, a cashier, a sushi cook and a waitress while we were there. our waitress took our orders with memory and she is older, so there were some mistakes, but she was great, so please don't think what occurred to me from this place the least. the traditional Hibachi experience to sit the flattop grill with others due to kovid is not an option so they have a more traditional restaurant experience while still the Hibachi menu most are used in these. I ordered the filet and the huh, but I got a filet and garnel. more in a moment. portion sizes were excellent. I have the standards soup, salat with ingwer dressing, fried rice, noodles, filet mignon and the above garnels. I also ordered 6 pieces sashimi that were thunfischmackerel and red snapper. the sashimi was an excellent size cuts and presentation. my meal had some mistakes and surprises. most establishments that are similar to that I have visited do not offer noodles so big 1 for it. I love the fried rice, I appreciate it very much. why I rated it 4 stars vs give it 5 is that this establishment does not allergy with their meal prep take into account. Yes, I know that cross-contamination can occur, but at least they give me the opportunity to remove as much risk as possible. I didn't get a nice drink that is usually included in a Hibachi menu and I'm deadly allergic to mushrooms. I had not the opportunity to remove them, their sweet are premixed and cannot be replaced. I also have a garnel allergy, not as bad as the mushroom, so when I got an ugly side of garnel with my order, I was a bit removed. our waitress, spirited them, elderly people and took our order completely through remembrance had everything perfect, but that. they made changes, they had a cook make me go a side order of the huh when they asked why I did not eat the garnel. I loved her personality and her sincerity and care when she realized the mistake she made and appreciated the effort. Great eating, the sushi love much, but if they have allergies, they might want to stay clear of this."

"1/1 Service; 2/3 Food; 1/1 ValueSushi Q is a modest, cozy eatery with a very warm and friendly staff. There are some tables with limited seating for a casual bite. The kitchen is open concept, so you can see the sushi chefs preparing the rolls to order. I ordered the spicy salmon, spicy kani, shrimp avocado, eel cucumber, chicken tempura, krunchtime fitness rolls and a miso soup for takeout. Miso soups are often an overlooked side, but the soup, albeit mildly salty, is incredibly rich, savory, and full of umami and deserves that recognition. My favorite rolls were the salmon avocado and the krunchtime fitness, both of which were light and delicious owing to each ingredient standing out with fresh and robust flavors. The spicy salmon, spicy kani, and chicken tempura were also rather good. These three were really jammed pack with their respective fillings. However, I didn't really like the amount of sauce that was both in the salmon and kani rolls themselves and then added again to the top. I felt like I could decant off all the sauce and dip other rolls into that spicy mayo, and it would still be enough. I did not like the eel cucumber much because of too strong of a saltwater taste, easily being the only thing I didn't enjoy. Overall, Sushi Q was a good experience with satisfying food at a superb deal! The $39.95 sushi roll platter with the five rolls and a special roll is sufficient for 2-3 servings at less than $7 a roll. I would definitely be down to patron a second time despite the few setbacks all things considered"
