"If you want genuinely authentic and delicious chinese food you've found it. My absolute favorite chinese spot. I've tried numerous other chinese/vietnamese places and they can't even TOUCH what this place offers. They don't use yellow rice like some places, which I despise. I've had general tso's chicken from some places and the sauce tasted like something that comes out of a bottle. This place offers homemade, fresh, delicious food that NEVER misses."

"Found this hidden gem while driving through Newport News today! This spot was cozy and welcoming, not to mention the staff made me feel very comfortable while attending to my needs. As for my order, I had spicy tonkotsu ramen along with their new strawberry boba. The ramen was very flavorful and it definitely felt like the chef had put a lot of effort into making the broth. I loved the toppings that came with the dish as the chashu pork melted throughout my mouth and the spicy umami broth lingered on the roof of my tongue and back of my throat. To end this meal, I decided to order a strawberry boba to-go which pleasantly reminded me of the iconic Korean strawberry milk which I buy in cartons at Farm Fresh! Overall, I had a great experience and would greatly encourage everyone else to give them a shot!"

I talked to friends about sushi and it was great. it melts like a delicious sushi sky filled with cute asiates and perfectly sticky rice. it was so good that I went home and high points! best sushi on the beach! I would recommend it over yama every day of the week! (yamasaki is still good, it is just more for the kids and pansies who like to listen to orchestra performances of the pocahontas soundtracks and celine dion)"

"Suddenly, he began coughing uncontrollably and did not cover his mouth. It was so intense that he had to lean against a table in front of the register for support. He even sneezed several times and appeared to be sweating profusely. To my alarm, he wasn't wearing a mask or gloves for safety. The fact that he was the sole person taking orders and preparing food while being visibly unwell raised serious concerns for our health and the well-being of other customers. Given the current crisis, it's alarming that they have sick employees handling food. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you want to avoid getting ill. They should seriously consider closing down and ensuring their staff is tested for COVID-19. It is inappropriate to have unwell individuals touching money, cards, and preparing food for customers."

"I discovered old, spoiled eggs in the soup at this restaurant. I would advise caution when ordering food from this kitchen. Additionally, I ordered fried rice, but they mistakenly served me lo mein. After sampling the egg drop soup with wontons, I stirred it and found chunks of egg that were so old, they resembled gray oysters. I ended up discarding the entire meal for safety reasons. I've also reposted photos that were previously removed."

"Our go-to lunch specials are the Mongolian beef and pork with Chinese vegetables. The beef is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the sliced roast pork in the vegetable dishes is equally impressive. Although the dining room is currently closed, you can easily call ahead to place your order for pickup or simply walk in to order. The food is freshly prepared and served piping hot. The portions for lunch specials are generous, especially with a hearty serving of fried rice. In about 15 minutes, your meal will be ready. As someone with a big appetite, I often find myself completely satisfied after one of these lunch specials. They offer around a dozen unique and enticing lunch specials, which are also available as dinner combos. Lunch specials are available Monday through Saturday. You can find the restaurant behind McDonald's in the Winn-Dixie shopping center, located at the intersection of Bird Road and 67th Avenue."

"I recently dined at Sake Sushi Restaurant and had a somewhat mixed experience. The Eel, Boston, and Chicken Tempura rolls were quite good, with the eel boasting a nice texture and flavor. The combination of ingredients in the Boston and Chicken Tempura rolls was enjoyable, and they were well-prepared and presented. However, I felt they didn't particularly stand out compared to other sushi places I’ve been to. On the downside, the yakisoba was quite bland and didn’t have the flavor profile I was hoping for. On a positive note, the edamame was tasty. Overall, it was a decent meal but not exceptional."

"Best Singapore Noodles ever. First time from here too! Spicy and the curry flavor shined through. Veggies and Shrimp fresh, should’ve ordered extra. Great taste all around! I don’t live in the 757 anymore but when I’m in the area I will most definitely be stopping for this dish again. However that brown gravy for the rice and gravy is so bland and tastes different than what I remember. Either way Nice job Mak’s on the Noodles!"
