"My friend and I stayed at the hotel behind the restaurant and were looking for somewhere near to eat, as we just drove 3 hours with several lines of downtime traffic. I've been to another place before, but she didn't, but after looking at her menu online, she wanted to give them a try. We tried their fried pimple and they were perfectly fried golden brown and the diving sauce was tangy with just a touch of spices. We also got a basket of cookies that were hot and flaky. She ordered her BLT and there was more bacon than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. She said the salad and the tomatoes were fresh and the bread was perfectly roasted. I wanted to try her 5 way chili over spaghetti and I'm glad I did. The chili was very thick and rich and well seasoned. They offer this dish as an appetizer or as a meal with one side of soup or salad, but I asked the server if the portions were the same and they said yes, so I just ordered the appetizer. There was a very good amount of noodles and chili for an appetizer. The chili was all mixed by the noodles and not only on top and the sauce, meat and beans tied to the noodles. This was the perfect comfort food after a long day of driving."
