"We went on a double date to North City Bistro on a recent Friday night and had a lovely time enjoying dinner and the show. The food is delicious and shareable (crispy Brussel sprouts, sautéed sea scallops, Mac and cheese, meat and cheese plate) and the live music was terrific. Yes, it can get lively (a little loud) but it is pleasant and in an intimate setting. There are about a dozen tables in front near the band where you can enjoy the show. There are also about 8 tall tops toward the back if you want something a little more intimate and cozy. We enjoyed cocktails to start, wine with dinner and affogato with dessert. With such a large variety of food and drink, there is something for everyone. We loved the creme brûlée to share! The staff and owners are kind and pleasant. We will definitely be back for their happy hour and Sunday brunch."

"We sat in outdoor seating and the setup was fine. Social distancing was being followed and PPEs were required. The wait staff was attentive. Loved the options and decided to mix a Crab Cake, Butternut Squash Gnocchi Brussel Sprouts chips. Still had room for dessert! Just right as they were all small plates. We spent about hrs catching up and we enjoyed the space, the food, and the service. Great place for a get together"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"This was our second visit to this restaurant as we had a great experience the first time. This second time fell short though. Our waitress, though very sweet, was inexperienced, and service was slow. Part of that may not have been her fault as she told us there was only one bartender so the drinks were very slow in coming. They were delicious when they finally arrived. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana. About 10 minutes later our server informed us they were out of it. Then almost right away she said they had one more order. When we got our entrees there were two pieces of chicken on his plate. One was great and the one underneath was so tough it couldn't be cut. Our server was very gracious and offered to remove it from the check. All in all I would still give it another try."

"We also ordered the Pad See Ew, which I requested without fish sauce. I added extra broccoli and stir-fried cashews, both with tofu. While both dishes were tasty, I felt the Pad See Ew lacked a bit of flavor, possibly because no alternative seasoning was used in place of the fish sauce. The service was friendly and accommodating; they handled special requests with ease and professionalism. My only issues were inconsistent tofu quality on two out of three visits and once receiving white rice instead of brown. That said, I was confident all dishes were prepared vegan (I don’t use fish sauce myself). Overall, I felt comfortable dining here, enjoying delicious food in a pleasant setting. Updated from my previous review on January 10, 2022."

"First: Delightful all around! Some of my family and I celebrated a birthday yesterday at Tre Scalini and it was fun, relaxing, and filled with the best food we could have hoped for. Joseph and all of the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. I really can't say enough about how fabulous they were. Just to mention a few of the dishes: The NY Strip Steak was cooked to perfection and the porcini sauce was amazing. The clams casino was the best I can remember ever having, and the dishes with the house-made pasta were wonderful. One member of our group, himself a chef, had the chocolate lava cake for dessert and could not stop raving about it. I rarely post anything on line but was compelled to thank them for the delightful afternoon, and let everyone know how much we enjoyed our time there."

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"A real gem in the neighborhood I wouldn't expect to find a decent sushi place. But, sushi here us amazing!!! The fish is very fresh and everything I've had here was absolutelly amazing. My favorite lunch place, gets crowded at night as locals know about it. Nit a fancy place and prices are in the mid-range, lunch runs at about $25-30 if you order sushi rolls. But they also have lunch combos for less. Give this place a try!!"

"rude, rude, rude! I called a week in advance for a party on 20 people. they said I was all ready, I had a table reserved and everything. to the luck I called the day before to confirm because they completely dropped my reservation. After waiting for 20 minutes, 4 people answered and told me that I had never stopped and that they could not join my party. to boot, the waitress hanged on me when I asked what to do. I called back, talked to the owner, no repentance. great customer service, snookers (just a sweat that I am attracted, there are other places to drink and play pool."

"Delivery driver said food was delivered and it was not. Delivery driver is NOT tracked through Grub-hub and is done independently by the restaurant. Was too late to reorder. Driver did NOT call upon arrival and did not answer when called to ask where he had placed the food. Honestly really disappointing that when calling the restaurant the women who picked up the phone was combative and first said it wasn’t within their control, but then said they would speak to the delivery driver. Just from the customer service— 1 star. Will not be ordering from here again."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"Great service, good food and nice ambiance. However, the restaurant was quite smokey from the wood burning pizza oven. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and never experienced a smoke filled restaurant. Although we had a wonderful evening, the smoke made it difficult to breathe and enjoy the atmosphere fully. That being said, our server apologized many times and immediately sent over the manager, who addressed it quickly and efficiently. They opened the front door and turned on the A/C to help circulate the air, which helped a bit. Really appreciated their efforts."

"I had a fantastic brunch experience overall, rating it a 4.5 out of 5. Jamie, our server, deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 – he was outstanding. The restaurant has an a la carte menu, which is not my favorite style, but the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, potatoes, and sausage, and the portion sizes were just right for me – enough to satisfy me without overeating. The potatoes were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. I don't know what they seasoned them with, but I almost wanted to order more. However, I managed to resist the temptation! For brunch drinks, I tried the pear bellini and mimosa, which were a bit bland but did the trick. It seemed like the drinks were pre-mixed and served from a pitcher. Besides the amazing food, Jamie really stood out during our meal. He was quietly attentive, able to gauge the mood of our table and provide service at just the right times. When my friend and I were having a private conversation, he respected our space and did not interrupt. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great brunch experience."

"Party of 6, parking was easy, in a lot right next door for $10.50. They added a 20% tip for large parties . Pros: I liked the decor and atmosphere very much, we were able to talk at dinner without having to yell to be heard and the staff were all very friendly and personable. The chicken fried Quail was excellent, the pork collard greens were unique and good also (both appetizers . The salads were all pretty good. The lava cake was outstanding. Cons: service was SLOW (wedidn 't mind a lot as we were visiting with friends, but if we had a show to make our some other engagement, it would have been a problem. When we arrived at 6pm, they weren 't too busy, by the time we were done at 9pm they were very busy , Iexpect they are short staffed. The service was okay, but more what I would expect at Chili 's (forgotten appetizers, sauces, etc. than a nice steak house in Dallas. The unfortunate bummer was the steak. None of them were cooked as ordered.Mine, NY strip, was ordered med-rare, came well done-. Another was ordered med well came very med rare. Just to be fair, we didn 't complain or send them back I expect they would have made it right, but the mark Ashley took 3 hours, Ican 't imagine having to wait for steaks to be redone. Overall enjoyable evening, but I had better steak a couple of weeks ago at Texas roadhouse for less than half the price."

"My wife and I have been dining at Sushi Sasa for the last 5 -6 years and unfortunately our experience last night was not the best. The food was satisfactory, but we have never felt so rushed by the service team the way we did last night. We were there for maybe an hour and the servers kept bugging us and wanting to clear our table so we could leave. Our reservation was at 7:30 so it wasn't too late. It was awkward and the commute ended up being longer than our meal. We love dining here but for whatever reason, last night's experience was not pleasant for my wife and I."

"Il Forno Restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping mall by NJ-28. There is ample parking and a good amount of seating inside the restaurant. The decor and atmosphere are reminiscent of an Italian marketplace given the painting and the lights hanging from the ceiling. The staff was very nice and polite. The plain slice, while not appearing to look as appetizing as other pizzerias was actually quite fantastic. It had okay cheese, good sauce, and an excellent crust. The crust was pleasantly fluffy and definitely enjoyable. The BBQ slice was alright. It was light on the BBQ sauce, but overall the chicken and onions were decent, albeit lacking in flavor."
