"I have not been here for a long time, and so when I had to bring my sister to the airport, we decided to meet a friend for lunch here. It is like walking into an Italian restaurant in the 70's. Needs to be remodeled, but it's a local favorite. There are always people eating at the bar and the age group is 70+. Most have been coming here for years! The server I forgot her name was awesome. I ordered the Baked Scrod with seafood stuffing topped with lobster bisque and 2 Jr. Baked stuffed shrimp. Lunch portion $15.99. It comes with a choice of 2 sides potato and vegetable , a cup of soup, fresh Italian bread warm with butter. SO MUCH FOOD! I had a cup of the chicken escarole soup very good , baked potato with sour cream just ok , apple butternut squash delicious! . The Italian bread was fresh and warm really nice. The baked stuffed shrimp were a little over cooked but still good. I wish they had come with some melted butter as they were really dry. I did not like the fish with the scallop and shrimp stuffing with lobster bisque on top at all. The stuffing was wrapped in the fish filet, and while the out side was hot, the inside was barely warm. Scrod is a light flavored fish, but it seemed fishy to me. The lobster bisque on the top was good, but again, as a dish together, I did not like it. My sister had just the baked scrod with lobster bisque $12.99 and she enjoyed hers.. She had gotten a cup of white clam chowder, with rice pilaf and apple butternut squash as well. Our friend got the Baked Scrod $14.99 with a cup of escarole soup, French fries and apple butternut squash. As a local, she loves the chicken escarole soup and apple butternut squash and has been coming for years and years. Lots of food for very good prices. Of course I wil be back, but I won't be ordering that again."

"I have always been a believer that in order to find a great prime rib, you have to be willing to try a place of the beaten path. North End Steakhouse (NESH) is that place. I have visited this establishment several times since moving to Newport, and am happy to see that it has ended up on Open Table, although I hope the crowds stay small. The menu is diverse, the specials are extraordinary, and the prime rib is the best around. There are no other places in the area that you will find or oz. cuts of quality meat for the price at NESH. Their Surf N' Turf, or Turf N' Turf lobsters) are the best deals by far. This all being said, I have not wandered far from the larger cuts of Prime Rib, sirloin, or the Surf/Turf combos."

"This is an edit from 5 stars one year ago. This summer there was a mixup in my order. No big deal, until I asked about it after 30 minutes? then I was yelled at told me to wait or get out!! When i was brave enough to ask again (half hour later) ? the pizzahad obviously been sitting for an hour. This was a mental health issue and I hope the man running the show gets help. In themeantime, I?ll not go back. One year ago? ?Know your order before you call. They are a busy, fine tuned machine, and don't havetime to chat. Atmosphere in this pizza joint is incredibly positive. It's busy and frenetic when you walk in, but everyoneseems to love the food so much.. that they are extra friendly to each other. "We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. "I drove half an hour to dine with my daughter, and we ordered the fisherman's platter. The food was incredibly greasy and awful. The waitress never came to check on us, and when I asked for something, it felt like I was bothering her. She seemed more interested in chatting with her family, who were there to help her. When I mentioned how disappointing the meal was, she got angry and threw the dish on the table without offering an apology or trying to make things right. The manager or owner did nothing to address the issue. I will never return."

"Great seafood! Had the clam cakes, crab cakes, NE clam chowder, fried whole belly clams and oysters with fries and slaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our orders were cooked perfectly, came out quickly and the portion sizes were huge! We recommended Quito’s to other conference attendees and they thanked us for it."

"First time coming to The Cove. Lots of pros and some things that were just average. The pros were the food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very nice and the food was great. Chowder, lobster bisque, kale soup and clam cakes all great. Even gave us 3 complementary clam cakes as well! The fried shrimp was a good size and the cocktail sauce was yummy. A pint of fried shrimp totaled to 10 shrimp which was a good value. Prices were reasonable. Only things that need change are the place is in dire need of a renovation and they have started some renovations inside already. Also the parking lot is very small and only has room for 4-5 cars. If you can’t find parking you will need to park on the street. Worth the trip if looking for reasonably priced seafood!"

"We spent the day in the Bishops Arts area. Stopped in Enzo's with a party of 6 for pizza. We had salads, artichoke dip and pizza. The bartender was very friendly. The waiter was attentive. The artichoke dip was good, totally different than the usual, salads were fresh, the pizza is more of a flat bread. It is like pizza toppings on a cracker. It was a nice change and everyone enjoyed it but it was not the usual pizza. The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant has a great location. We had a good time and would come again."

"From what we saw from the plates being served to our fellow diners, we thought that ample portions would be the norm. The onion ring appetizer did not disappoint lots of them, fried to perfection. However, my wife and I both ordered from the dinner specials menu, and what we received for the money spent was questionable. The Cape scallops were expected to be small, but the number served was incongruent with the price charged. I had about 6 small to medium size chunks of pot roast. We both had a baked potato, which was a good deal smaller then the ones brought to other customers. Our granddaughter had a kids meal with chicken fingers, cheese sticks and fries it almost looked as if she got as much food as we did. It appears that the establishment pushes specials and appetizers as an exercise in portion control load up on a cheaper offering, then maybe you won't notice the skimpy main course right down to delegating smaller potatoes to the cause. Despite all this, we're willing to give Lindsey's a second chance, but from the regular menu next time. It's clear from what we have seen that the restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike for a reason. Hoping that we'll be able to experience that in the future. "I absolutely adore Boomerangs Deli! The food is always fresh, hot, and incredible. I had walked past this place a few times before actually trying it out. Initially, it didn't look very promising to me. When I saw a sign advertising clam cakes, I was skeptical. However, after giving them a try, I fell in love with them. I am thrilled to have found a place that not only offers clam cakes but also delivers them! Their food is never greasy. If you ever try their buffalo wings, be sure to ask for their homemade blue cheese dressing - it's simply amazing, with chunks of blue cheese in it. Boomerangs Deli is my top choice for takeout. The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays and close at 8pm during the rest of the week. Nevertheless, the food is still top-notch and the staff is wonderful. I once ordered from Boomerangs during a winter storm, and they not only remained open but also delivered to my house. Despite my front door being in the back, they went out of their way to bring the food all the way to my door, even in the snowy weather. Give this place a try - you won't regret it!"

"Crows nest was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas Eve! My husband was able to continue the 7 fish feast tradition. We definitely plan to return for the holidays next year we will be back sooner though as well! . Food is great as are the drinks and service."
