"Ok, this place is the REAL DEAL. When I first walked in, I couldn't stop looking at all the beautiful pastries on display. Everything looked so amazing that it was hard to decide what to order! My boyfriend and I finally settled on an acai bowl, an artichoke and egg croissant sandwich, a Kouign-amann, and a black iced tea.The croissant sandwich was as big as my face and so filling that we ended up taking some home. The black iced tea was refreshing, and the acai bowl was delicious. But the real star of the show was the Kouign-amann, which is essentially croissant dough infused with butter and sugar. It BLEW OUR MINDS!If lived closer to Alpine, I would go back every weekend and order everything [vegetarian] on the menu. Seriously. I loved it that much. Plus, the woman behind the counter was bubbly and kind, and the vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. A huge bonus was that the chairs at the outside tables were actually comfortable.
