"Absolutely the BEST hot chocolate in Columbus! It was so delicious that I drank about half of it before I remembered to take a picture. The coffee is excellent as well. Café Phenix is more than just an espresso shop; they offer a wide selection of homemade pastries, soups, and sandwiches—be sure to try the Croque Monsieur! They also have quiches and salads. The service is always warm and friendly, and you'll likely meet Gary, who is a delightful conversationalist and a talented barista. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, but you can usually find a meter within a block or two away."

"We dined on the patio it was hot but they had the fans blasting. It was dark outside so we couldn't see much of the view but what I saw was the golfing putt putt greens and some building but nothing lovely at all. The staff was friendly and nice. They let us stay late to enjoy ourselves bc we came late at 9pm (kitchen and bar last call is 9:45pm). Food was really good. I had the curry halibut and shared the ceviche (big slices instead of chunks) and the brussel sprouts. You must get the sprouts! The wine was ok. We enjoyed our evening there."

"Had brunch here with several of my friends. Amazing brunch cocktails and the food was spectacular. Was able to get the Brunch/ Sunrise Pizza that was online but not on the printed menu. SO GOOD. Apps were good too, my friends liked the okra (not my fav veggie, not for me to rate), but the Brussel sprouts were awesome. Service could use some work especially since there were only a handful of tables filled. Loved how quiet the space was, a lot of places have started blasting music and I'm glad they don't here."

"Really nice cozy place, and the one thing they have that no one else does, is an extremely good violin player who plays in the outdoor area. I've learned a little violin and this guy is *good* I've lived in San Jose for years now and the violin player here is far and away the best musician you can hear without paying $50 and up for a ticket. Yes, it's a wine bar but if you want your kid to have a good impression of violin-playing, take them to the outdoor patio here when Gabriel the violin player is doing his thing. It goes without saying that the coffee etc are to a high standard also."

"Warm and cozy : Kafein is a very special place. Baklava is Lebanese style; I was assuming/expecting a Greek stlye baklava, so that caught me by surprise. Great coffees and teas and other treats served here by friendly new owners. I'm so happy this place resembles the same as it did in the 1990s."

"excellent in front of the house staff. mixed drinks looked very good. the food overall looked very good, it must taste good. I have “ chickens and grits”. the crack where stiff, cold and clumpy. they, where definitiw should not be prepared as the grotten. the huh looked good, but the crust was soft and had zero crunchy. it was little to not season on the chicken, but the main problem was the crust. from any reason there was an inedible, partially carburized earlylings on the pate. the side of the kartoffels was good and well seasoned. I just didn't think it was very good. so many places make incredible hues and geese. they, where not excessively busy and the front of the house seemed excellent. Maybe I caught her on a bad day."

"The Mediterranean toast is absolutely delicious. It can also be made gluten-free! It includes beer-humid, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, falafel, and a house-made vegan lime tahini. "Now, onto the food and drinks! I tried the chicken salad croissant, and it was delicious—perfectly made! I also had the organic power recovery smoothie, which was fantastic. "Unfortunately, when we arrived for our 6:30 dinner reservation, the doors were locked. A lovely woman opened the door and let us in through the back entrance by the patio, informing us that the restaurant closed at 7 PM. I’m not sure why OpenTable allowed us to book a 6:30 reservation when the restaurant's operating hours on Friday are from 3 to 7 PM. However, she graciously offered to serve us, and her service was excellent, but the food left much to be desired. I’ll consider returning one more time when the restaurant is fully open and the live music is playing, as that might provide a better experience."

"Black people don 't go there!!! I was treated horribly by the staff and was called angry for calmly asking for a refund when my order was made incorrectly. The staff never apologized and I didn 't receive a refund either. The staff claimed they don 't giverefunds although there is no sign posted. I didn 't feel welcomed there. I feel like I was treated like that because I am black.I will never patronize this establishment again in life!"

"I 'll start by saying I love supporting Daily Grind! However this location on De La Vina needs to be retrained or something... the drip coffee here is horribly acidic. I can 't even drink it without diluting it with water. We have bought the large coffee carriers for our office as well and same thing, SUPER acidic. This is a case where less is more with the coffee grounds...or just do the correct ratios in the first place, no need for a heavy hand with the grounds because the coffee is good tasting! I think the staff also might need a raise because they do not look happy my teller was super short with me and bypassed the rewards system so I didn 't get to type my phone number in : I didn 't want to be a pain so I didn 't ask her to go back, but idk she could have taken an extra second to interact with me. It was very much have as little to do with me as possible . The energy at the daily grind on Mission is sooo much better and they work twice as hard! Idk if it 's different management but the daily grind on de la vina needs an extra spark. Probably would have ranked lower but I don 't want to be mean! I just want the management to check in with how their team is brewing coffee and maybe treat them a little better so they enjoy their job!"
