"Your event here! Mark Becker, the event coordinator, has done an amazing job to plan everything from all over the country. 10 of 10 of me and all my guests! I'm in Florida and standing in a wedding as an honorary girl for a best friend in De Pere, so I had the honor to plan her bridal shower. To be so far away, this was already a nail engraving type of task to complete, as I couldn't just drive and could plan everything in person. From the first contact to inquire about the room, I knew that my event was in good hands. Mark responded to all my requests in time with professional advice for every aspect of the event. He is great at what he does because he has great communication and actively hears what his customers want him to make great direction for my event perfect. He was so flexible and accommodating on behalf of the company that made my experience so stress-free and appealing. Our event was in the smaller of the two rooms they have (which can be a huge room if you've got a really big event), called Niagra Room. Large windows allowed for lots of natural light, a beautiful chandelier was suspended in the middle of the room and two large flat screens in the wall for my picture slideshow I joined for the bride. Hats to their kitchen team and cook! The menu is great and there was something you could order for any kind of event. I chose the veggie platter and cheese/outage platter for appetizers. Wow! The cook has plated them so beautifully that my event made so much more elegant. For the leading actor, I ordered the Pasta bar. It came with everything! Salad bar, dresses, garlic bread, fetters Alfredo and Marinara Penne. Mark staged the buffet table with beautiful dishes and of course the food came so nicely plated. Everyone loved eating and many guests went up for seconds. Great work everywhere! Finally, I could not leave this review without compensating for the entire staff. Each host, server or bartender in the building welcomed me, asked if I needed or offered something to help. Customer service is definitely a step above the rest. Especially thanks to Joe and Mark for our event. It would not have been so successful with your willingness to offer such excellent customer service. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

"We’ve been coming to the Beach Street Bistro for many years and it’s really only one of two restaurants that we visit for an upscale, seafood-centric meal with a stunning view of the sunset. I’ve never had a bad meal and I tend to stick with a selection from the “Just Caught” section of the menu. I’ve had grouper, mahi-mahi, salmon and other types of fish, with all of the various preparations offered on the menu. My favorite is the pecan crusted preparation, but it really depends on the fish. My sister raved about the “grassy key” style preparation during our last visit. We’ve also had the cranberry pecan salad, clam chowder soup, scallop entree, the pork chop, and surf turf. All were delicious. And, of course, the coconut shrimp is a must if you’re visiting Anna Maria Island! You’ll also get fresh bread and butter before the meal, and the entree portions are generous, so no one is going hungry. Finally, the sunset view. We typically call a week in advance to make a reservation for the outside deck. You can’t reserve a table on the deck specifically, but if you get an earlier reservation you’ll be able to request a table outside when you check-in with the host/hostess. We’ve always been able to get a table outside, but it is a small deck (4-5 tables, I believe), so be sure to plan ahead. As you can see from the photos, the view is unbeatable. We’ll be back, every year, during our future vacations!"
