"Where to begin, the food was delicious it was hot and made fresh right when i ordered. the chicken katsu was crispy seasoned cooked perfectly and could tell that it had been fried in fresh oil. the rice was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. and came with a sweet and tangy sauce that complimented both the chicken and rice very nicely. The lady at the front was so sweet and kind, the service was amazing. she came up to me multiple times just to check in and see if the food was good, brought me water, and extra sauce too and i had not even asked for it. The restaurant was clean and nice and had a friendly vibe to it with music that made me feel nostalgic to 2016. Overall it was a great experience and I 100% recommend and will be coming again. they gave me so much food the small container was packed with rice to the brim and the second larger bowl had a mountain of chicken katsu inside. I eat a lot i'm a wrestler and have a huge appetite and look at how much food I had to take home!!!! It could have at least fed me and my brother who both wrestle and eat like dragons. You guys have my gratitude for amazing service and food."

"Great place for the area! We had dogs so we stayed outside in the patio.. it could use a little more TLC and the patio would be stellar.. the food was decent considering most of it was probably frozen but they have a vast menu! Super friendly staff (to people and pups and you can tell they hustle! I definitely recommend the place if you’re on Alcova lake : Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"I like to come here to eat something, but that was the limit. first, the girl who answered the phone had an attitude with me from the door. It was almost as if she was harassed and harassed by me to command one, and I didn't understand why. I ordered a large sub, totaling $9.81 I came into the load to get my food and watched several teenagers who ask themselves in the load and behind the counter. When I asked about my order, I paid with a $20 bill and received $1 and a few coins in favor. I didn't know until I got to the car that it was just a 6 inch sub and not a big one. then I realized that my money was not right, so I went back to ask what happened. I finally returned the sub and asked for my money back after waiting for about 10 minutes. if I'm in charge, I'd hold an eye."

"It was my first visit to the restaurant, and I decided to try the spicy teriyaki chicken meal that the owners recommended since I love spicy food. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations at first, but when I took my first bite… wow! It was absolutely delicious! I asked the owner how they made it, and she mentioned it was a family recipe passed down through generations. I also loved how generous the portion sizes were compared to other teriyaki places. As you can see in the picture, I had quite a lot and even had to take some leftovers home! I would definitely love to visit again. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming."

"The hostess was very friendly and the food was quickly prepared and served. It was hot and fresh, and the fried rice was delicious. The General Tso chicken was just alright. It was very salty and had no heat, desperate being market as spicy on the menu. The price was also too high a weekday lunch entrée with rice and a soda ran well over $20. Their soda options are limited to Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, and Orange Fanta. The environment is very spacious and clean, with a warm and well lit atmosphere."

"There is chicken available on every dish at a very affordable price! There is hardly any rice in comparison. I frequent this restaurant often to pick up food for my mother while I go next door to buy pho for my dinner. My mother really enjoys the teriyaki, even though there are ten other options within a five-mile radius. I personally like the egg rolls and I appreciate supporting a business that works hard to stay afloat. The owner may come off as a bit aloof, but the prices are incredibly cheap and the food is delicious. On a slow Monday, he even offered me a free drink in exchange for a Google review. I decided to write a review and pay for my drink because my mother has sent me here at least 15 times. The only other teriyaki restaurant we like is all the way on 85th street, and it's just as good as the now-closed Outback Steakhouse."

"Caution to diners: be sure to check your receipt carefully. The restaurant adds extra charges that aren't accounted for in taxes. I ordered three meals at $8.49 each and one meal at $7.49. However, on my bill, I was charged $8.99 for the three meals instead. I noticed the mistake, and the cashier looked surprised when I pointed it out. She then attempted to justify the discrepancy, but I had to pull out my calculator to explain. Even then, she pretended not to understand, and suddenly her English seemed to falter. I can't help but wonder how many other customers have been overcharged like this. For reference, $26.97 divided by three equals $8.99, but the correct charge should have been $25.47 for the three meals at $8.49 each, plus whatever else I ordered on a separate ticket, for which she did charge me correctly.
