"The Breakfast Place is like a worse Waffle House. It smelled good when we first walked in, but the area our table was in smelled gross. Here’s what we got: Coffee $1.95 : Good. 2 Eggs with Meat bacon , sub hashbrowns $5.75 95¢ : Bacon and eggs were fine. Hashbrowns were from a package. One Buttermilk Pancake $1.75 : Fine. A little battery in the middle. Egg and Cheese Biscuit $3 : The bottom half of the biscuit was very hard and almost impossible to bite into. Egg and cheese were fine. Service was good and quick! We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. In Covid times, staff were wearing masks, albeit one employee had hers below her nose. They don’t require masks. There were syrup bottles on the table, which is gross even before coronavirus, but especially gross now. It was cheap, but the food was less than average. We wouldn’t go back."
