"We came to Sage upon recommendation from friends that we were visiting here in Tallahassee. We were celebrating our anniversary and hoped for a wonderful experience as it was a highly recommended restaurant. From the moment we sat down and had to wait 15 minutes before the server even came to the table with water to the hour and 45 minute wait before we got our meal the experience was abysmal. There was no explanation Other than they were backed up. The restaurant wasn’t even that full yet our table and all of the tables around us were waiting for over an hour for any food to show up. The only time the manager showed up was at the end while they were serving all of the tables at the same time approximately an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes after ordering. When we complained to her that we had ordered well before any of our tables she said well I’m just trying to be transparent here we want to plate everything all at once. When the food finally arrived it was not edible. I ordered the most expensive plate on the menu which was the bone in ribeye. There was no meat in the ribeye it was pure fat and gristle. My wife’s dish was severely under cooked. Your first mistake was hiring a millennial as the manager of this restaurant. You will be losing customers left and right. It was clear that she was way out of her league and way over her head and offered no explanation of why this restaurant runs so poorly in her hands. I will never go to this place again and if this is the best that Tallahassee can offer ? Well. I guess there’s a reason why Tallahassee isn’t a culinary destination."

"Cork and Craft has been a favorite of mine for the last 4 visits I've made there. I've taken friends, family and co workers to share what I've known now since the first time I tasted what they had to offer....bliss. Crunchy tater tots, sublime salads, the most delicious hamburger you'll sink your teeth into chase it all with one of their crazy good, frothy brews. Whew! What a gastronomic dream. The executive chef is a visionary, probably only creating dishes he would enjoy and serve to us if we were invited to his house for dinner. Imagine the steak tartare...uncooked beef, macerated and seasoned to unctuous perfection daring you to scoop it up with a crunchy point of toast. Sexy, velvety beast, it is. Don't shy away from this rich dish of amazing flavor. But I think the best dish I appreciated the most was the belly licious House Craft salad. Bright, eggy, and crunchy, this tossed salad was just what my appetite and waist desired. Small bits of pork gave it just enough saltiness to give it that savory flavor we never know we need in a salad, and the truffle dressing rounds out this simple but tasty show. Probably the only thing that would've made this dish any better, would've been a hot and chewy partnership with the Pandesal rolls which they haven't offered for the last 2 visits. It would be in poor taste if I brought my own Valerio's Pandesal bread each time I dined here but Cork and Craft teased me the first time they swooped similar soft rolls down on our table so now I expect it. I won't lie those carbs were scrumptious. If you are lucky enough to be served by Albert, you will not be disappointed. He is the kind of server much coveted by patrons like us. Rest assured that all the servers at Cork and Craft are skilled at what they do. No doubt, because they are led by the most amazing General Manager who knows what his customers want and delivers it with ease. It's relaxing to know we are all in good hands at Cork and Craft."
