"I used to frequent Sakura on a yearly basis, and really enjoyed it. I have a newer celiac diagnosis, and asked the server if there was anything they could confidently make without gluten as I’m sensitive to cross contamination. The server ensured that they would be able to make my meal in the back, without gluten or soy sauce. The cook made my meal on the hibachi and I felt somewhat confident that the rice and veggies would be safe. However, once he started cooking the meat i was pretty sure there would be cross contamination. I talked to the server and she attempted to talk to the cook, and he snapped at her. It was uncomfortable, and I did not eat my meat because I knew I would end up sick. She profusely apologized to me, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Food allergies are exhausting and socially isolating at times, and this experience did not make we feel welcome at this establishment."

"Let’s talk about how tasty Pho Lewis is first;The ingredients are simple yet high quality and extraordinarily healthy! Unless you pair your Pho with their delicious Boba Tea, but in that case, it’s worth it because they have so many flavors and add-ins.It’s cozy to sit inside, but I assure you, if you take your Pho to-go, Pho Lewis will not skimp you. You receive the same amount as you would sitting in, and they even bag the vegetables separately, which ensures they’re still fresh by the time you get home.It’s exceptionally military friendly, and just rather friendly in general.The prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. "We went on a Sunday at around 4:45 pm, and the restaurant was completely empty except for us. Nonetheless, the server (the ONLY server) took a while to come take our orders. The server gave our 1 year old and 3 year old kids glass cups of ice water, and I had to ask for straws. These cups did not have lids. I asked for my kids to share one pork katsu special from their whiteboard, but they served two instead. This whiteboard didn't even list what the prices were. Thankfully they did not charge us for two, but it took an extremely long time of waiting for the server to come back to check on us. They never came back with a receipt, so I had to get up and ring a bell and wait for a receipt. There are signs posted everywhere about how short-staffed they are, and how you can kindly leave if you don't want to wait. I considered leaving without paying for our meal. I thought that would be horrible and decided to wait even longer. Finally a person came to ring me out but they didn't even tell me the total or give me a breakdown of the receipt before taking my card and charging me. All the while, I was asking for the total, and he just said he would give me money back if it's wrong.Overall, the service and atmosphere are really bad, 1/5. However, the food was decent and would be a 4/5 for the sushi and a 3/5 for the hot foods/appetizers we ordered. The prices are pretty high for the overall experience. Not kid-friendly."

"It is located in a busy strip mall. I think we got lucky with parking because we parked immediately but got the last spot. No one greeted us upon entering so we just sat down ourselves. I give them a little bit of leeway about how long it took to get brought water and about how promptly our orders are taken because they were so busy. I went with my husband and child. We all split the Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp, a Large Pho House Special (rare steak, flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe) with Extra Noodle. I am glad that the pho wasn't too salty. The broth was good but not amazing. We polished it all off with a Strawberry Smoothie and a Honey Peach Slushy. The Spring Rolls were rather good, if a little standard. The Large Pho with extra noodle was the perfect amount for 2 adults and a child to share. Honestly, the smoothie and the slushy were only ok."

"Date: January 29, 2022 After all these years, this place is still amazing! We hadn’t visited in several months, and it was the perfect day to indulge in some comfort food. Since it had been a while since our last visit, I found it challenging to decide what to order. In the end, I went for the Banh Xeo, as it's a dish that’s quite rare to find! I can get pho anywhere, but not every restaurant makes Banh Xeo. Plus, I can always have a taste of my husband’s pho if he’s willing to share! This time, we skipped the Spring Rolls platter so we could focus on our entire meal. And wow, the Banh Xeo exceeded my expectations! It had the ideal crispiness on both the top and the bottom—no sogginess at all. They provided enough lettuce for wrapping each piece, and I love the combination of the crispy Banh Xeo crepe and fresh lettuce. It’s similar to how you eat fried Spring Rolls; you wrap them in lettuce and dip them in sweetened fish sauce. Absolutely delicious! The filling of the crepe was spot on, with perfect bean sprouts, pork, and shrimp. They also included a fresh sprig of basil to tuck inside the crepe. The additional sides of pickled carrots, radish, and cucumber slices complemented the dish nicely. I also ordered a side of tendon, which was wonderfully tender and delightful! My husband chose the #27 pho, which came with a mix of meats: brisket, tendon, flank steak, and fatty brisket. He even ordered extra meat, and they serve it separately so you can see just how much extra you got—a huge portion, basically another bowl of soup! You can never go wrong with Pho Viet, and I can’t wait to return for another delicious meal! Three years ago, I noted that this is the best place in Canyon Country for pho! Their customer service and food quality are consistently excellent. We used to live nearby and would come weekly. The pricing for such generous portions is fantastic. The broth for their pho is always authentic and delicious, and their sweetened fish dipping sauce is simply amazing—it pairs perfectly with their vermicelli noodle bowls and grilled dishes. The spring rolls are another favorite; they offer a variety along with multiple dipping sauces, a must-have with every visit! We love this place so much that we’d drive from far away just to eat here. Thank you, Pho Viet!"

"Occasionally they will screw up your order. However, at the rare occasions, if we want roasted chicken, I would rather here chicken than at KFC or Popeye's, because they do all FRESH directly there (good to wait 15-20 minutes). It is also delicious, and it is a local business instead of a cookie cutter chain! Golden Chicken is probably one of our favorite cat menus (my husband and I work 4-6 times a week), and it's worth getting there, just for the cookies. They are so light that they eat clouds! I'm glad they opened one in this area... I bet they also get a lot of military customers!"

"If I can give zero star I will. One of the waiter there very very rude. Not my first time here but every time I come here and have this waiter I know want I will get. This is last time I will eat at this restaurant. Today I came to eat with my mom and he greet me with the end of the world face as usual. I ordered drink,when he bring me drinks and he look at me like just order the dang food so I can go take another order from other table. I ordered dry noodle with the broth on the side like I always get. He told me we don 't have it. I said every single time I come here that what I always get and he said let me ask the chef. He came back with vegetables dish so I figured I will get the food I ordered. He brought back want I ordered and all side dish and he just slide across the table one by one make the loud noice. I finally told him after so many time he ack like this. I said....sir Do you know that you are very rude?? He gave me go to hell look and said what? I don 't know? I explain to him what that mean. He said no body ever tell me that. I said I 'm telling you. He said I 'm the only one here...which is doesn 't matter how many of you here you still have to provide the best sevice to your customer if you want to have the service job!!! He brought back my last order and if he can just throw on my table he would......I 'm done with this place. Terrible sevice!!!!! "I love love love their food at this place. I know that sounds a bit common of me but so is eating at a buffet in the Midwest. There are all too many buffets around this part of the world where you pay your $12.99 and most people see their value in the quantity of food they are able to eat but not at this place. Not only do they have more entrees than any other place I've ever had buffet before but each and every one of those entrees taste so delicious. They also offer where you pick your own meat and vegetables and they cook it for you on the spot everything is fresh fresh fresh they have healthy choices as in salad items and great desserts I mean everything is just the best of the best it's like eating at a five-star Chinese restaurant at a buffet price I love this place And it's not because of the amount of food I'm able to eat it's because of how the quality of the food is the best there can be"

"Aw man, I really don't like to put up poor reviews especially for Viet food because I am Vietnamese. I'm truly confused how it has any more stars. I ordered to-go a Pho Dac Biet, Bun Dac Biet, and a pork and shrimp spring roll. The pho was super dark and tasteless, and didn't have any pho smell, almost like black colored water. I couldn't eat it. I actually still am not sure what that liquid was supposed to be. The meat was thin. There were barely any noodles. The bun thit was also disappointing. The meat was again too thin and barely grilled. The shrimp were pretty good. The egg roll was actually very good. The fish sauce was too watered down. And then I ordered the pork and shrimp spring roll, and it came with only pork but it was once slice of the thinnest almost non existent piece of pork. The sauce was good. My fiancé thought it was vegetarian, that's how thin the pork slice was. The one good thing is when I ordered it, the food came pretty quick, so I assume it was quick service at the restaurant. I was so disappointed. It's too bad.."

"The meat in my bi bim bop was like two day old, dried out, old bulgogi. Really nasty. Veggies were decent. Rice was alright. Husband's Spicy pork was also dry with little flavor, little spice. The food was like someone didn't feel like cooking but just threw it together, it had none of the traditional flavors or spices, no onions, no sesame oil or soy sauce. I guess people go here just to drink, not really caring about taste or quality. Service was almost non existent. We will never go back."

"I decided to stop for dinner at this restaurant based on other reviews. It's a small, unassuming spot located in a strip mall. The place was clean and well-maintained. They are open until 9pm, but they stop taking dine-in customers at 8pm. We arrived a little after the cut-off time, but the staff kindly allowed us to dine in. The service was excellent. We ordered soups, spring rolls, and two entrees along with a Thai tea. Both soups were delicious and the spring rolls were served in a unique presentation inside a glass with sauce, which was also tasty. The curry was spiced just as we asked and the eggplant dish was particularly delicious. However, the chicken entree was only okay. We would probably try something different next time. The menu also offers smoothies, but I didn't want to push my luck this time. Maybe next time."

"I went here recently for my birthday, and the experience was spectacular. The service was impeccable, (the nicest most polite staff I've ever seen at a hibachi restaurant), the food was even better, if that shows how good it is. I got the New York Strip hibachi meal and let me tell you, this is definitely for sure, the best fried rice I've ever had anywhere. The steak is great as well. For an awesome taste mix, up the fried rice and steak, and add in some noodles and it'll be absolutely delicious. I would 100% reccomend coming here and I will definitely be returning!"

"The food was fantastic and freshly prepared! The shaking beef was particularly outstanding. All the broths were served hot, which was great. "I have ate at this establishment before many times, food has always been excellent. This experience was not so much. I live about 30 minutes away and drove there and got take out. Called the food in, added some stuff when I got there. Total was 21.37. Just a casual two people dinner there days. When we got home to eat our food, there was hair's in both of our plates. Not just one but several. I called letting them know, asking if we could get a refund or something to compensate. Nothing was available, just to drive all the way back out to get the same food remade. Seems a little far out of my way just for 2 meals to be replaced. I work in the food industry and we always try to compensate with the customer to help encore their experience. I was not pleased about this."
