"It was me and my wife’s first time here. It was a great experience. We reservations for 8 on Friday night and arrived about 5 minutes before. The valet was very professional and quick and we were able to almost instantly go inside. We were seated very quickly and I was a little reluctant that it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night. Our server was super nice and the food was excellent. The veggies were very fresh and not over cooked. My wife had a really good filet and I was surprised how good it was considering she orders her steaks well done. My shrimp and grits had a lot of good flavors and the grits were cooked well. The “s’mores” dessert was delicious and the presentation was very entertaining"

"there is to celebrate the birthday of the man and on reservation, but nothing of the restaurant said. eating was very good in taste and quality, but a bit disappointed in the pimento cheese appetizer. only 4 pieces of brot came with him, but more than enough Pimento cheese to go around, so asked for a few more pieces of brot. get 1 “regular” piece and 1 tiny end disc still ended us $2 for it! Really? I can understand this charge when they get 4 more pieces the size that came first, but this seems small when 4 people also order and several rounds of cocktails. this nickel and diming is what drives good customers elsewhere."

"I would give this restaurant a negative rating if I could. For groups of eight or more, reservations must be made online, which I did, and I even received an email confirmation. This was for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration, and we had traveled from out of town with guests from out of state. However, when we arrived at the dock, we were not allowed to park. The dock attendant informed us that it was closed for a wedding and that our reservation would not be honored! This was incredibly disappointing and quite a shock."
