"We spent a weekend getaway for our 11 year wedding anniversary at Brasada. When booking our dinner reservations we added anniversary to our note. We did get our outside seating that we reserved though we got one of the two worst tables outside next to a fire pit that just smokes. When asking if we could move to a table along the edge with a view we were told they were specifically reserved. A second couple was almost sat at the other worst table available yet she complained of the smoke and was able to move to a table with an awesome view. Our service is what was the bummer My husband asked “what’s the Pilsner you have?” Our waitress answered “it’s a beer” He was clearly asked what brand When he asked what a food item that was on the menu she literally read everything listed in that food item that was on the menu rather than explaining what it was not just listing the ingredients. Drinks were slow and the inside was less than half full. My husband snuck away to remind them of our anniversary. Our waitress came back with a menu and said “he said it’s your anniversary you get a free desert if you wanna pick one from here” Just not the experience I wanted when dressed up for a special night The facility itself is pretty and the food was good"

"Wow, I have to say I am not surprised often by a restaurant, but they did it here! We had looked into going to another pizza place but the wait was too long on open table. We live in Rockwall, about 30 minutes away and wanting good Pizza. So, we jumped in the car, made a reservation over the phone and away we went When we arrived we were impressed with the layout, the mood, and the all around atmosphere of the location. We were seated fairly quickly and had a server named Dillon that sat us. There was live music, that played some great music and I could not help myself and found myself belting out a few lines on occasion. They have a great selection of beer and spirits and I had an Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace. Dillon recommended I try out one of his favorites, and it was sweater than my old fashioned and left a syrup feeling on my lips. Not my cup of tea but still not terrible. The pizza was fantastic, like, next level good. We ordered the smoke house BBQ pizza and the Pinky Pig. Have to say, both were something that I will be ordering again. We started with the cheese bread, it wasn't anything special really, just some french bread with melted cheese and we opted to have the salmi adde for $2 more. Good, but not worth the $10, would have rather paid an extra couple bucks for anther pie. We had a salad, but I forgot the name. We will be back for sure. The pricing is in the neighborhood of 15% higher than it should be for everything across the board from drinks to pies. Many places are not taking into account that when you charge these rates, when a customer comes in, we know we need need to add at least 30% to account for the tax and tip. I would have had a 3rd drink, but at $11 for an Old fashion $15+ after tax and tip) I decided to pour myself one at home that cost me $3 with a better bourbon. Stand alone with better parking and a more upscale atmosphere could justify the pricing in my eyes. I will be back, but when our bill was $150 for 2 pies, a burger, 4 drinks, appetizer and shared salad I was in a bit disbelief for a moment."

"We dined at this restaurant earlier this week after choosing it based on its 4+ star rating. The service was excellent and the atmosphere, while a bit outdated, was clean. However, we were disappointed with the food overall. Our group of four ordered crab cakes and baked onion ale soup for appetizers. The soup was good, but the crab cakes were lacking in flavor. My husband and I followed the server's recommendation and enjoyed the Banshee Beef. Our dining companions ordered fish and chips (deemed okay) and the Fisherman's Pie. Despite its steep $28 price tag, the Fisherman's Pie was mostly mashed potatoes with very little seafood. While we understand the challenges restaurants are facing, improvements are needed in order to entice customers to return. Overall, I would give this restaurant no more than a 3-star rating, especially considering the prices."

"We had decided to go for a late dinner, but before 9 pm, and entered the restaurant as we usually do.We waited a few minutes as the restaurant was a little more quiet than we have usually seen. We finally had the floor manager, we believe, take us to a table and he told us that "someone will be right with you". We waited more than 12 minutes for a waitress to come see us after she had been to a table a few feet away from us, with her back turned completely towards us. I had also made eye contact with one or two other servers who quickly made their way to the kitchen area. Once we placed our order, our beer and delicious calamari were brought out for us to enjoy. As I am known to do, I will not "dip" my food into sauces served separately when sharing with someone. I used my fork to scoop out some sauce and moved it to my plate, tapping lightly on the plate to ensure that all the dip comes off my fork. Within a minute, the table that the server had visited earlier with her back to us, started tapping on the table, not one of them but most of them!.Yes, even though I am an "old Fart", according to these brilliant 20 somethings, I did notice their continuous repetitive tapping throughout our meal. The server came over to their table and I thought maybe she had said something to them but apparently not. They later did it a few more times. The meal was very good but the atmosphere was terrible. The server got the usual 20% tip because she did what was expected. When we were leaving, the table serenaded my wife and myself as we left, with a loud chorus of table drumming. If this is how the next generation deals with the older folks, I feel sorry for the future. I am also upset with the restaurant as they were paying too much attention to the younger crowd, but didn't say anything to them about their behaviour which was evident to more than just us.. We all pay the same amount for the food we eat. I have since sent an email to the restaurant and have waited 2 weeks for at least an acknowledgement but to this day have not even heard a "thank you for your comments" or "we will look into this". We even sent the bill #, server # and name so that they could use it as a training moment. We're not looking for anything other than the acknowledgement!"

"love this place! the vegan voodoo child pizza is soo good with tons of flavor, love the house made cashew cheese they use on it. i tried the new walnut beet ball starter and was super impressed, i’ll definitely be trying the walnut beet ball pasta that’s on special next time i go. the waitress was super sweet and luckily got us the very last vegan gluten-free key lime parfait for dessert. it’s basically a mousse made with an avocado base and date and walnut crust layered between, topped with some kind of housemade whipped cream. it was soo tasty and had a really nice key lime flavor"

"The Caesar salad had a real different taste but was great! Those croutons were delicious! We ordered a fennel sausage pizza and capellini with meatballs, too. The pizza was really mediocre. The bottom of our pizza needed to be cooked longer so the crust was really chewy. Our pizza didn’t have a lot of toppings on it either. I would describe it as a cheese pizza with garnishments.
