"I got the sausage gravy and biscuit home fries with cheese eggs. She got the pancakes, sausage and cheese eggs. Food was good orange juice was good. When you order cheese eggs remember to put ketchup on them. They have a huge menu which I like. Great place to go to late night or during the day. Open 24 hours I think. It be packed Sundays because of the church folks. But overall great place"

"Alice was our bartender and server, and she was incredible! Her personality, suggestions, and overall knowledge were outstanding. My wife and I will definitely be returning, and we'll also recommend this place to our friends and family. It was the best dining experience we've had all year!"

"I had a wonderful brunch experience at this traditional American restaurant and would definitely give it a solid 4-star rating. The service, particularly from Carlos, was excellent and we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Our table was chosen carefully to accommodate our stroller, and our coffee and food were served promptly with a smile and some lighthearted morning jokes. The menu offered a variety of affordable and generous-sized dishes, including 6 types of Benedicts to choose from. I would recommend trying the Linguica Benedict with hash browns, but there are plenty of options to suit any taste. The pie selection was excellent and the coffee was good, rounding out a satisfying dining experience. Overall, I was very pleased and will definitely be returning for more. Thank you, Buttercup!"

"The customer service was excellent; I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was. He frequently checked in to see if everything was okay, kept our drinks refilled, and demonstrated great manners throughout our meal. He definitely earned a well-deserved tip! As for the food, it was good, and I would likely return. The only downside was the noise level from the music—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. But, given that it’s a Mexican bar-style place, I suppose that's to be expected. Just be prepared for a hefty bill if you’re planning on having a full course meal! Dinner for two came to $84 plus tip, and we didn’t even order any alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, my husband left satisfied!"

"Imagine a mix of Shasta and Coke, then picture Denny's and Brandon's. That's the vibe I got from this place. It definitely had a family-oriented atmosphere, which I really appreciate. My only suggestion would be to add some bell peppers and onions to the home fries, but you can't have it all! If you're on a road trip along the 91, it's worth making a stop here, no matter which direction you're heading."

"I would have easily given this place 5 stars based on their food. However, the service and pricing were completely ridiculous. We were seated, and an older couple came in after we sat. I watched the owner point to a table without looking at them, and even though the woman said something twice he ignored her and kept walking. Not exactly a way to get return business! The look on her face said it all. After we placed our order (and the order was read back twice), the waitress brought our appetizers, but no plates to put anything on. Finally got some after asking, but then the older couple asked for a condiment, and the female owner literally snapped her fingers and pointed to the older couples table. Which the whole restaurant saw. Extremely unprofessional considering that she could have helped them, but instead went into another part of the restaurant and sat down. The waitress was the only one working and there were a handful of tables so she was super busy and definitely inexperienced. Our food came, and the waitress never cleared the table and then told us the kitchen made a mistake on my daughter's eggs. She wanted overmedium, but they were scrambled. She told us we'd have to pay extra for new eggs and the toast that she ordered. She had a complete meltdown about it, but she kept looking at the owner in a panic. That tells me he is not very business savvy and cares more about money than customers. What policy says that a customer should pay for your mistake? Also, why is your policy that if someone wants toast instead of pancakes, they have to pay $4?? I suggest taking a business class and retraining your staff unless you don't want to stay in business. I'm willing to pay for a good experience, but $100 for what we got was not worth it. Your food is good, but your lack of customer service, high prices, and business practices are certainly in need of an overhaul!"

"I went there yesterday to watch the RAIDERS game, and it was my first time. Everyone was fantastic, creating a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, from the waiter to the bartender. I shared some nachos, which were delicious. We stayed for two games, and I ordered waffles and bacon for dinner; it was also very tasty. I will definitely be returning!"

"This restaurant is fantastic! We could easily walk here from our hotel. Although we were informed there would be a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in just 5 minutes. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding—she was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. While the food was amazing, it was Shannon who truly made our experience memorable. I highly recommend this place!"

"Great place to eat, it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I always recommend people visiting Dana Point to visit this restaurant. Whenever I am there, breakfast, dinner, doesn't matter, it's always a chorizo omelet. They are always generous with cheese and use quality ingredients. Lately, I have been eating their delicious bacon-wrapped onion rings."

"So glad to hear it's back open! The first thought I had coming for the first time here was that it brought such a warm feeling. Loved that they played top hits from the 50 60s and that you got to choose your music 25 cents). My boyfriend tried their New York Steak 10 ounces) $25, and had requested cooked medium, and it was cooked really well and was pretty juicy. We also ordered the roasted beef grilled cheese comes with two, $18.50). Super cheesy and the roast beef was juicy! It was a great ratio between the short ribs and cheese. Lastly, we got their slow braised short ribs $18.50). It's served with mash potatoes, steamed zucchinis, and two dinner rolls. Loved how juicy and tender it was. I would definitely recommend coming back to get their slow roasted short rib or the grilled cheese for a quick snack. Service was great. Shout out to our server, Piper Major, for GREAT service and a fun time!"

"Holy cow! I needed some food to make me feel better and had a craving either a sausage biscuit or biscuits with gravy. Gloria's came through with their Texas eggs benedict, a halved biscuit with sausage and poached egg on each half, covered in sausage gravy and a side of hashbrowns. It was so good! I took mine to go but there was plenty of room inside to eat without being too near other people. SO GOOD! Update: I ate here again and got pancakes and bacon the pancakes were amazing but don't pay extra for fruit topping, it wasn't much worth it. But the bacon! A side order is about 4 strips of thick, crispy bacon. It was a huge pile. I also got a cookie to go and it wasn't the best ever but it was pretty good."

"They brought me ham and cheese omelette and I had ordered a veggie omelette. The place was freezing cold to the point I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was also very loud with people packed in too tightly. Cake was average at best. I had the macadamia nut carrot cake. Sounds wonderful but it wasn't. It had a weird plasticky texture. I've had regular carrot cake that was way better. Oh and the omelette had the veggies on outside rather than the inside. Is that a hipster thing? Home fries were literally deep fried and some were so hard they could not be chewed. On a positive note...the ice tea was good!"

"Delicious Japanese American/Hawaiian restaurant! This great little diner is tucked in the front of a local bowling alley and serves great Japanese American/Hawaiian food. They serve many Japanese and Asian dishes, as well as American diner fare, including breakfast dishes and sandwiches. The coffee shop includes Hawaiian staples into several of their dishes (e.g. Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage, Kalua pork, saimin noodles, etc. . The diner food is great too I had the chili rice and the chili was very tasty, and I consider myself a chili connoisseur. But the Japanese dishes are delicious as well. Their menu is very complete and robust. Tremendous find. The venue is a bit small, so probably no large parties. But, if you want some good Japanese American/Hawaiian food, or diner dishes, come check out Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop."

"I am a West Chester University Alumni. I graduated years ago. This spot used to be a very popular spot that my friends and I would hang out at. College students were in and out all the time. Between the students and the local clientele, this place was always busy at all hours. The salad bar was loaded with amazing things and food was consistently good. My dad would take me here when he would come out to visit. That was of course about and around 18 years ago. Since then I have been here a couple of times relatively recent. I’m meeting up with a friend for breakfast now simply for the nostalgia. The last couple times I was here I was admittedly disappointed in the quality of the food. The servers were very kind. I was told to stick to the breakfast or the burgers so that’s what I will do. It is so weird with these luxury apartments right next door that they sort of share a driveway with and the old cars junked in the back. I don’t think the lot is even as big as it used to be. I’m here, searching for nostalgia. I’ll stick to the breakfast. Does anybody know if and when they changed ownership? I’d be curious to know."
