"I had a great experience at The Licking. My only concern was that one of the waitresses promised to seat us quickly but ended up seating another couple before us. Fortunately, another waitress saw what happened and made sure we were seated promptly. If you're looking for a fancy dining experience, this isn't the place for you. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everyone was friendly. The vibe is more urban, with rap music playing, which I enjoyed. The food was delicious—I had the lemon pepper wings, which were perfectly seasoned and fried. The mac and cheese was rich and flavorful, and the candy yams were also quite good. The fried shrimp, calamari, and broccoli were all fresh and tasty. I can't forget to mention the lemonades—they're the best! My favorite was the mystery drink. I would definitely come back again."
