"My recent visit to Matthew's Steakhouse had its ups and downs. Here's a breakdown of our experience: Pros: Good Service: We were impressed with the attentive and courteous service throughout our dinner. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel welcome. Convenient Reservation: Booking a reservation through OpenTable was a breeze, and it saved us the hassle of calling in. It's definitely a more convenient option for those planning a visit. Delightful Appetizers: The appetizers were a highlight of our meal. In particular, the peaches and bread service left a memorable impression. It was a delightful start to our dining experience. Cons: Undercooked Steak: Unfortunately, the evening took a sour turn when my wife's 6oz filet mignon arrived severely undercooked. We appreciate that they offered to recook it, but even after reheating, the steak was still cold in the middle. This was quite frustrating for us, especially since my wife loves a perfectly cooked steak. She only managed to take one bite of her meal, which was a significant disappointment. In conclusion, our experience at Matthew's Steakhouse was a mixed one. While the service and appetizers were commendable, the undercooked steak left us with a less-than-ideal dining experience. We hope that they can improve the consistency of their food preparation in the future, as it would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. If you are looking for the best steak in Central Florida (Orlando area) we recommend checking out Linda's La Cantina. Better pricing and extremely consistent steak temperature."

"the best fish roast we had in one! we decided to freeburg because it was near the overture ctr where we had tickets later. and because it was a Friday, we decided to try the fish roast (what we heard was good). we sat almost immediately, even tho ' they were busy. we have our craftsmanships fast, our order came also fast. we were so satisfied with our dinner! two BIG bites of kabeljau scattered in a delicious, crispy coating. the cook had the deep frittier oil at the perfect temperature to cook the fish well, while not for a oily, limp coating. we were served a side by fries, which also tasted, and a small part of the koleslaw. have I mentioned that they make their own tartar sauce from ground up? it was pretty: a hauch of sweet another hauch of meerrettich, along with a lot dill. the freeburgers still get their sea legs as they establish themselves on the state street. As a result, they are a little among the employees, as they leave people who do not meet their standards. I spoke to the manager a few days after our visit, he said he was in the night on a server, and he himself was in the back hooking. whatever they do to take place, it works. we were satisfied with eating and service, and we were out there in sufficient time to make our show (if we don't feel hastily rushed in any way). I can't choke for her German food because we didn't order in the main menu. but if they are in the city on Friday, they will look at the castle. you will not regret it!"
