"If you like fried chicken that's kicked up a notch or two with an eclectic atmosphere and banging sides, then Rocky's is your place! They offer dine in our carry out and have both indoor and outdoor seating. They do play music, so if you're looking for some place quiet, then this isn't it. You can get the spicy levels ranging from nothing to Rocky's hot to extra spicy. They explained that their levels of spice are a little more intense than most places and they weren't lying. I tried the honey mild pimento chicken BLT and it still had me going. Now, granted, I'm not a huge spice person like my hubs or my kid, but I do love me some Frank's or Texas Pete. Their honey mild had more kick than those do for a reference. Their pimento cheese is rather tasty and the sandwich was a bigger bite full than I could handle! The boy got the Rocky special at the hot level and he said it had a definite kick for him (which is saying something . They offer a lot of side choices and some that you don't ordinarily see like corn pudding and sweet potato casserole. We chose the potato salad, mac n cheese, fries, corn pudding, and sweet potato casserole. Of course we had to pay extra for the sides that didn't come with our meal but we were totally fine with that! I'm rather picky about potato salad but I'd be happy to eat theirs again. The Mac n Cheese is so good with undertones of jalapeño and seasoning salt, but it's not spicy, just flavored. Their fries are crispy crinkle fries, not soggy, and already seasoned. They pair perfectly with ketchup or their ranch dressing. (Total side note, their ranch is so freaking good that I would gladly drink it and ask for a refill!! The corn pudding took me a little aback, but it was still enjoyable. It's not sweet like a dessert, which is the way I'm used to corn pudding tasting. Their's is a savory corn pudding. It's good but it took me some adjusting to eat it. The sweet potato casserole tastes exactly like my Nanny makes and that is a huge compliment!! I could eat a whole plate full of it and be a happy camper. We don't have a Rocky's anywhere close to us so this one is going to be a must eat when we're traveling and run across it."

"My daughter and I went for the first time. We were the only customers the entire time we were there. Greeted and I told the cashier who took order that it was first time here. It would have been nice for her to say welcome in, or let me explain the menu or even simply take your time deciding. She said absolutely nothing. I ordered a chocolate chip waffle and two wings and four beignets. I asked for hot chocolate didn’t have that as an option. Oj was on menu but was not an option either. I ended up with a bottle of water. Total was $28. I thought a bit pricey for what was ordered. My daughter ordered a strawberry waffle with two chicken tenders and bottled water total $17. We were handed our beignets over the counter only with one plate and had to ask for napkins. I honestly don’t know how beignets should taste I’ve only had once in New Orleans and they were so dense that I didn’t like them. Now these were so soft and flaky they melted in your mouth really enjoyed them. Again, when our plates were ready handed them over the counter. Like I said we were the only customers so would have been nice to have plates brought to us. I enjoy putting butter on my waffle but they only offer melted butter wasn’t quite the same. We enjoyed our waffles they both tasted like their flavor. Fried chicken was pretty good. Carls who I believe was the chef was the star. Great customer service and friendly. She checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal and engaged in conversation. Overall, we will return to support them and to try different flavors"

"Seeing as my wife has got us on this new plant-based diet, I decided to give this place a try. This review is primarily based on a pickup order and not dining in. Location Aesthetics located at the crossroads of N Dysart and W Camelback Road, behind Barro's Pizza, and all the way (at the end) to the left of Basha's supermarket. The restaurant had good signage and couldn't be missed. Exterior of the restaurant was very clean with plenty of available outdoor seating options and lots of available parking as well. Interior was clean and spacious with seating indoors as well. Very well lit and quiet. Service as I entered, I was greeted by staff with warm welcomes and smiles. They were very pleasant, professional, and courteous. Thankfully I didn't have any questions as I had already placed my order online, but judging by how great the food was, I will be back and I will have questions on some of their other menu items seeing as this diet is new to me. Wait time for my food order was minimal as it was already prepared and for the time of pickup and waiting for me. Menu menu was available via their website and was very descriptive with the menu items. There were also available menus in the restaurant as well. Food I ordered the Mongolian Wonder which consisted of BBQ non- GMO beef-less protein, green onion, yellow onion, red bell pepper and ginger sautéed in homemade sauces, flavored with sesame oil. Portion size was good with lots of each ingredients. I didn't find any ingredient lacking. Ingredients were fresh and very tasty/delicious. Nothing was too dry or burnt, and there was a bit of sesame oil sauce at the bottom of the container (nothing to drown the ingredients but enough of it to keep everything moist). Even the container was biodegradable! The beef-less protein, to my amazement, looked and tasted just like beef. I couldn't tell the difference. The entire dish wasn't too oily or greasy either. Prices weren't bad in my opinion especially with the portion sizes provided. Definitely recommend and I would certainly be back to try some of their other interesting menu items. I heard they have a cheesecake that's 100% vegan. Updated from previous review on 2019-09-02"
