"There are no other Teriyaki places with an affordable price close to the Chicken Teriyaki bowl at $8.99 in 2024. The food is consistently great and the lady at the counter has memorized my order when I come in. When she says 5-10 minutes or 10-15 minutes it's ready within that window. I have gone to Bob's and waited 45 minutes after I placed an order 30 minutes in advanced. Besides meal prepping a bowl at home for the next day there's nothing that can beat this for me."

"Fantastic food! I'm not a sushi lover, so I opted for the Teriyaki chicken while dining with friends, and it was incredible. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was so delicious I almost wanted to lick my plate clean! My friends, who are sushi enthusiasts, raved about it and claimed it's the best in town. My only downside was the size of the restaurant; it was quite cramped, and we had to wait just over an hour for a table. However, considering the amazing food, I will definitely return!"

"I go here every week almost the food is superior some of the best food I?ve ever had they put their Hard work into perfect in the food I absolutely love this place and don?t see myself ever stop going here it?s a bit expensive if you?re on a budget anywhere from like 5 to $15 a meal but it is well worth it The people in there I go there so often know exactly what I get and it?s great I?m happy with the service and the food I?m happy with the service and the food And I think if you?re reading this you should try the place Enough food to last me the entire day with leftovers"

"We’ve had two disappointing dinner experiences at this restaurant, and last night was the worst. We both ordered teriyaki chicken and paid extra for fried rice instead of brown rice. What we received was a thin layer of fried rice on the bottom topped with brown rice, both of which were mushy, soft, and overly wet. My dish had a large area and a small section filled with the rice, leaving very little chicken. The small section contained what seemed like wet, mushy vegetables or some limp salad; I think I spotted a piece of carrot, but the rest was just green mush. The other meal had all three compartments—one large and two small—filled with the same soggy rice and very little chicken. The few pieces of chicken we did get lacked any real teriyaki flavor. This was the worst takeout I have ever had, and I felt compelled to share my feedback. I even called the restaurant to express my disappointment. I will not be ordering from here again; we essentially wasted our money on subpar food."

"I was really excited that this moved to University Place as I have been to the old one on 6th Ave and it was great! Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The sauce on my orange tofu was watery and like a soup in the bottom of the plate, I asked to have it remade but when it was it was the same. She admitted that they made it again using the exact same sauce. I ended up just getting a refund. My daughter had tofu yakisoba, which wasn’t stir fried, and had no flavor. The tofu was just fried in the fryer, there was no cornstarch or breading on it. I am hoping they are just having issues hiring cooks but it was very disappointing."
