"This review needs a lot of clarification because we love the jazz night Thursday 7-8:30pm. However it is the worst managed affair and hasn’t changed in over a year or more. Our server was nice but whatever process they have to go through to get a drink order filled takes 20-30 minutes. Food takes even longer. When other staff comes with the drinks or food they take it to the wrong table then circle around or put it in front of the wrong guest! This is NOT a rare occurrence. They finally lit all the new cheap table candles with their thread width wicks and they all promptly burned out. One server got new candles for his three tables but the rest of the room got none. We ordered two drinks at once because we know getting second service is rare. For food I ordered their Boudin Blanc listed as Foie Gras, duck breast, parsnip purée and jus. Listed as an appetizer I expected a tiny portion of each item. What it really is, is a white (mostly parsnip) 3” quennelle shaped mousse of the ingredients. I suppose as it’s called a boudin I should have realized that, but I was sitting in the dark. The jazz starts at 7 and lasts 90 minutes. They didn’t start seating last night until 6:55pm (sometimes earlier it’s not consistent). This results in getting your drink 20 minutes or more after the jazz starts and the crazy service dance lasting all the way through the performance. There has to be a better way to handle these nights. You’d at least expect them to have table numbers and seat positions so when the drinks and food come they end up with the right person at the right table. And get quality fake candles, the servers have enough to do. On a positive note the room is lovely and intimate and when Nicole Pesce is playing piano, the jazz is wonderful though the sax was a little louder than usual last night. Also management called when my friend left her credit card so we could return to pick it up. He met us at valet, a professional touch. We keep hoping for improvement."

"Disappointing! I’ve been coming to Vegas for 15 years and enjoyed many wonderful celebrity chef dining experiences. Happy to pay for service, ambience and flavor. I felt regret as I signed my bill. Service was 4 out of 5. As soon as we sat down, we received excellent attention by 2 waitstaff working in tandem. It would’ve been a 5 out of 5 if drink service had been more prompt. We ordered a second round of drinks as the entrées were delivered and these drinks showed up after we had completed our meals. Decor is modern and swanky but slightly nondescript. Wait staff dressed in chic black. I felt slightly uncomfortable for the young women wearing short skirts that did not fit properly. I’m all for beautiful women wearing beautiful clothes but these women were wearing clothes that were too small for them in my opinion because there was lots of fidgeting to ensure skirts did not ride up further while walking thru the dining area or making cocktails. Instead of giving off an effortless sexy vibe, it felt awkward and made me feel uncomfortable for them. The pork belly appetizer was the best item of the evening. Apple salad and Bibb lettuce salad both felt below average in taste and presentation. American Wagyu filets we’re ordered by all and steaks were cooked to the correct doneness. Carrots were disappointing and hard to chew. The flavor of the steak and all the sauces that we tried were below average. In the last 18 months I’ve been to Gaucho Parilla Argentina in Pittsburgh, KanePrime in Nashville, Gibson in Chicago, and St Elmo’s in Indianapolis so I have some spoiled tastebuds. Cut by Wolfgang Puck is not even in the same class. For excellent Steak in Vegas my go to is the Golden Steer. But in my opinion, the best food scene is Nashville."

"Ellie's, I love you . Todays dinner Date with the wife is truly amazing. This place is Pretty solid its a small location a lot more outdoor seating than inside. Our appetizer consisted of feep fried Mashpotato Croquette with a purée, that alone was Amazing, fried to perfection and don't get me started on the purée that was Divine. (I would like that everyday thank you) Compliments to the Chef ! Superb. 2nd dish I had was The Flannery Beef Ribeye, by all means this is a Must ! This purée and sauce was also inspiring went extremely well with the Ribeye, it was cooked to perfection and even had a slight crisp on the edges of the ribeye, lovely touch, this is also a Must have Dish. Had some veggies in there too. The last dish I shared with the wife was Risotto Carbonara, We truly expected a little more from this dish. I expected this plate to take my breath away, it had braised beef tongue and an egg yolk, the plate alone look Beautiful. By all Means I don't want to misinterprete that this wasn't a good dish. It's a great dish, it certainly took my breath away with the amount of pepper that was in it and the Risotto was undercooked, it was a bit crunchy at times. But the flavor of it was unimaginable, it was great for my taste I think it needed a few more minutes and less of the pepper again for I want to make it clear For My Taste. Over all this place stands out, The staff is friendly and attentive. Certainly a place to come back to. Parking is Horrible I do recommend you going earlier to find parking. See you guys soon, might take some of that Purée home ."
