"I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with the chef, who takes his craft incredibly seriously—he researches, tests, and genuinely cares about his offerings. He’s truly dedicated and I can’t see him ever stopping his pursuit of new and inspired recipes. Then there's the matriarch at the front of the house. She is generous, attentive, and genuinely invested in enhancing the customers' experience. I've witnessed her patiently guide people in choosing their meals and making frequent checks on tables—quite impressive given that there are often just two or three people managing everything. I've also seen her handle difficult situations with challenging customers with remarkable grace and professionalism. She really tries to accommodate everyone, despite the challenges posed by some entitled patrons—something I couldn’t handle myself. One of her standout offerings is her homemade teas, crafted daily with ingredients like rose or lychee—so delicious! This restaurant is an absolute gem, and we aim to eat here at least once a week. When I’m feeling under the weather, I crave their chicken broth—it's simply unmatched! When I’m starving late at night, their noodles are what I yearn for. Even when I’m on a restricted diet, they go out of their way to accommodate my dietary limitations, which is especially challenging for me when I crave those noodles and rice. Plus, their later hours are incredibly convenient for us. I’ll remain a loyal fan and will follow them in whatever culinary venture they pursue. If you’re not in Victor, trust me, this place is worth the drive—especially for lovers of Southeast Asian cuisine. I can’t think of another restaurant that combines this level of quality with affordability, extended hours, and such delightful hospitality, all while consistently delivering delicious food. So, I’m seriously reconsidering my rating—from 10 stars to a full 100!"

"**Ambiance:** Located in the food court of HMart in Burlington, this place can get quite busy, especially on weekends. Finding a seat for two can be a challenge, let alone a table for our party of four. That's not really their issue, though. The restaurant stall itself was well-organized, and the menu was clear and straightforward. **Service:** The service was solid. The woman who took my order for the King Buns was pleasant. We had a little hiccup with the credit card machine, but she assured me I could pay later once it rebooted. I ended up returning to order two additional meals as well. **Food:** The food was fantastic! I started with the King Buns, expecting them to be juicy like xiao long bao, but she informed me that they were just meat buns. Despite this, I ordered them anyway, and they were aptly named for their size. While they didn’t contain any juice, they were filled with a delicious mix of meat, glass noodles, and other ingredients. They were slightly on the dry side, but at $6.99 for two, it felt worth the try. The sweet and sour pork, priced at $20 without rice, was exceptionally good. The sauce was served on the side, which allowed every piece of pork to stay crispy. I can’t wait to order that again! We also tried a dish that combined jia jiang mian noodles with a seafood noodle soup. Both were excellent! My wife thought the seafood soup leaned towards spicy, but I found it perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat. **Other Thoughts:** Be prepared for a wait for your food, which is understandable in any Asian restaurant where fried pork is involved—it takes time to cook properly. If you're dining in, you should be ready to hover around and wait for others to finish their meals in order to snag a table. Also, keep an eye out for other diners who might try to claim the table you've been waiting for. The sweet and sour pork, while on the pricey side at $20 and without rice, is substantial enough to satisfy at least two adults."
