"The culinary scene has a true standout in Marra 's Uptown Sandwich and Salad House. It is a place where classic meets contemporary, offering an assortment of delectable dishes that exceed expectations. This place is not just a restaurant, it 's an experience one that I 'm eager to relive after my recent visit. The star of my visit was undoubtedly the Drunk Chicken Sandwich. This hearty concoction was a triumph in flavors, perfectly encapsulating the dedication that goes into the preparation of each dish at Marra 's. The chicken was succulent and tender, cooked to perfection in what I suspect was a beer based marinade, hence the catchy name. The bread was fresh, perfectly toasted, adding an appreciated crunch to each bite. Layered with crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a tangy mayo dressing, the sandwich delivered a symphony of textures and flavors that was nothing short of culinary brilliance. But it wasn 't just the food that won me over. Marra 's service and ambiance are just as compelling. The staff were consistently courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt, displaying the kind of attentiveness that transforms a good dining experience into a great one. The eatery 's late opening hours, until 7:30 PM, are a delightful bonus, catering to the needs of those looking for a late night bite in town. As someone who appreciates the option to dine later in the evening, this convenience significantly elevated my overall experience. The ambiance of the place is equally praiseworthy an ideal blend of modern comfort and vintage charm. This creates a welcoming atmosphere that invites diners to sit back, relax, and truly savor their meal. In terms of critique, I struggle to find any. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, my experience was filled with positive surprises. The Drunk Chicken Sandwich was a joy to eat, the service was exceptional, and the late hours were a convenience I truly appreciated."

"Reposting this because google keeps removing it for no reason when white plains NEEDS to know.Extremely disappointed. This used to be one of the best spots in white plains. After going in here today, seeing new menu items, a new layout, and people I have never seen before- I came to the conclusion they have got new owners. I believe I spoke with the new owner (he was the one taking the orders who was very nice, and pleasant. Unfortunately, that was the extent of the good I have to say.Not only did he say he had to ring my second sandwich up as a separate transaction (I found this odd, why could you not add it to my first sandwich, just to get more sales? the cost was way more than what it normally is. When I was handed the bag, it felt extremely light. I have gone in here over 1000 times since it’s opened years back, I knew right there something was off. After getting back to my office, I opened up the sandwich and was actually appalled. Not only was my order completely wrong, the flatbreads are now at least half the size of what they used to be, and they’re 3-4 dollars MORE EXPENSIVE? Absolutely egregious and just down right sad. A place that was the perfect lunch, the perfect spot, has now been ruined by greed. A former regular customer, sad to say I will no longer be patronizing this business. Insulted isn’t even the word.Extra note: they do not have many of the old items either, I asked for bacon and got some roa"
