"Okay first of all, anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars probably puts ketchup on their steak. With that said, this food is literally top notch. It's incredible. I get the chicken tikka masala everytime with the chicken Tikka Naan, delicious is not even enough to describe this food. And I normally always have to order it from grubhub, and it still comes hot and delicious. I would love to try it fresh someday. I have had a phone conversation with the owner when ordering, and he is extremely polite and just seems like an awesome person. He helped describe things to me, didn't rush me and made sure I knew all about the food I was ordering. Top notch guy and top notch food. Eat here. Oh, and if the price kinda throws you off just know that the portion sizes are massive. If you look at the photo I posted you will understand. This is more than enough for 2 people."

"Always a favorite for after theater dinner on Tremont Street. We enjoy the wide variety of dishes and selections. Nice ambience and enjoyable experience. Really like the complete meal for two options, with appetizers, entrees and desserts... Both vegetarian and non vegetarian choices!"

"I recently visited a restaurant that left a sour taste in my mouth. The establishment was outdated and in dire need of a revamp. Upon entering, the employee at the door did not welcome us in with a smile, making us feel unwelcome. To add insult to injury, the server who attended to us seemed a bit racist and gave us subpar service. It was just us and another table, yet the server gave them better service as they were not a minority.Despite the poor service, I must admit that the food was great. The flavors were bold and the portions were generous. However, it was disappointing to have such a negative experience due to the poor service and racist undertones. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and given the same level of service as any other patron, regardless of my ethnicity. It's a shame that in this day and age, such prejudices still exist in the hospitality industry.Overall, while the food was great, the service was lacking and the establishment needs to address its outdated decor. Until they can provide equal and fair treatment to all customers, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"Sadly, this was such a poor dining experience. Granted, it's hard to find amazing Indian food in Boston, but this was really bad. We ordered the vegetarian thali for 2, and they forgot to include the naan and the samosas, and instead of ginger ice cream they included a strange artificial-tasting ice cream. The mango lassi was so sweet I honestly could not drink it. For $45+, the meal was terrible. I hate leaving bad reviews, since I want to support local businesses, but we honestly felt so shocked by this experience and want no one else to waste their money and be as disappointed as we were."

"I live in Queens and finding a great Indian spot ost Covid has been quite difficult. I’m fortunate to have family that lives in the area and we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant. It is by far the best tasting across the board, you can tell that there is a level of care and detail that goes into every dish. 10/10 WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND!"

"I have to be honest. This place used to be good for four years. However, the chefs change frequently and the food varies each time we visit. It has now become excessively expensive, with our bill averaging around $80. I recently discovered that I paid full price for snacks and appetizers. If your bill totals more than $50, it is wise to go to a genuine Indian restaurant where you will receive good food, service, and better value. It is preferable to spend your money there rather than here. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"There are several choices for Indian dining in the area. We have tried them all and find Bombay Flame to be the best. The Salmon from the tandoori comes to the table sizzling on a hot platter and is superb. I’ve had the lamb rogan josh several times and the pieces of lamb are always tender. For an appetizer try the Flame wings, you’ll be glad you did. The only drawback is the physical space. They make the best of a windowless concrete block building, but from the outside it does not look that inviting. In fact, we avoided the place for a few months because of the exterior appearance. Bombay Flame is a perfect example of ‘not judging a book by its cover’."

"I love Spice Symphony! I have been ordering from them for a few years now and it is my go to dinner. The chicken tikka masala and samosas are fantastic. The all types of naan are great too regular, cheese, and garlic whatever you're feeling that day. Order from here!!"

"We were visiting NYC over the Presidents’ Day weekend (February 2020), and read the OT reviews for the Bombay Grill House. Relying on the reviews we chose it over all the many choices for Indian fare for an evening family dinner. It exceeded all the reviews!! Excellent authentic Indian food, great and varied menu, wonderful and attentive staff. Who we believe was the Owner stopped by our table twice to make sure we were satisfied and enjoying our dinner."

"I had an outstanding first experience at Taj Indian Restaurant. The staff was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I asked for a recommendation based on my preferences and ended up ordering the Madras Curry shrimp with rice and some naan bread. Everything was absolutely amazing—truly a meal fit for a king and his queen, and all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Taj Indian Restaurant!"

"spice village offers a great ambiente and service while it shines on delicious Indian delicacies. my family and I have eaten here for many years for lunch buffet. I also ordered from here for catering. spice village goes beyond and beyond to ensure that all its needs are met. all dishes are very tasty, so it is hard for me to recommend any particular. but kappa with fish curry is a great choice along with the biriyani. the buffet allows them to taste all different dishes and leaves them filled and satisfied. the dishes have more of a South Indian slant, which is rare in this opposite, but in any case needed, as most other restaurants offer only North Indian dishes....read more"

"I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I ordered biryani which was not fresh, had a bad smell, and tasted terrible. I could barely eat a few spoonfuls. It was a shame. The old lady who served me asked if I wanted a plate and spoon, which I found nonsensical and stupid. She also overcharged me and when I asked for details, she rudely told me it was tax. Someone should educate this ill-mannered lady on providing detailed bills to customers. She was arrogant and rude, wearing black gloves while the cooks, who were not wearing gloves, prepared the food with dirty hands. I will never return to this restaurant. The old lady had a bad attitude and the food was awful. I suspect the biryani was made days ago. Shame on them."

"I had an excellent dining experience at Sher A Punjab in Quincy. I finally found some good North Indian cuisine in the area. I visited twice in a row. The first day, I enjoyed the buffet, which included a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, along with salad, fruits, and dessert. The next day, I visited in the afternoon and ordered paneer makhni with aloo paratha. Both meals were delicious, and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon. Buffets are Friday Sunday until 2:30 PM EST. Would recommend calling them before if you’re opting for buffet."

"Vegetarian options: Biryani Xprx (express) offers an extensive menu featuring a diverse range of vegetarian and halal dishes, far beyond a single paneer option. Dietary restrictions: My sister has a medical condition that prevents her from consuming spicy food, which is always a worry since even minimal spice can lead to discomfort. However, the staff at Biryani Xprx (express) were incredibly accommodating, ensuring her meal was as mild as possible, allowing her to savor a delightful dinner without any pain afterward."

"Upon entering, I noticed an unpleasant odor reminiscent of spoiled milk and meat that had been left out, which lingered throughout my time there. Our server was attentive, but we were repeatedly asked what we wanted to drink, even though we only requested water. This became uncomfortable, prompting me to order a mango lassi in hopes of ending the questioning, but it didn't help. Others in our group who opted for water continued to receive similar inquiries, even after we had finished our entrees and cleared our plates. The mango lassi tasted off and was served warm, despite being accompanied by melting ice. We decided to order a few dishes to share family-style. While I enjoyed the garlic naan—anything with that much garlic is a win for me—most of the entrees were flavorful but underseasoned; they lacked salt. The chicken biryani portion was generous, but the curry dishes were heavy on sauce and light on protein. Once our food arrived, we were inundated with flies and other small bugs, which completely dampened my appetite. Overall, my experience was disappointing, but I acknowledge that others may have a different experience."
