"Located on the south side of W Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park, this restaurant is a great spot for BBQ lovers. The flagship restaurant, established in 2009, has since expanded to 22 locations in Florida. Upon entering, you can view the menu online, at the counter, or on paper menus while waiting in line. Orders are taken at the counter, where staff write them on craft paper that follows your order through the line. Indoor seating is available with tall and short tables, booths against the wall, and a bakery for those with a sweet tooth. There is also a semi-outdoor seating area separated by a roll-up garage door. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is clean. Overall, this is a fantastic place to satisfy your BBQ cravings."

"I was quite disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. The food was served on a tray, just plopped down on a wax paper insert instead of on a proper plate, and unfortunately, it was cold. I ordered burnt ends and pulled pork, both of which were served stone cold. The baked beans were somewhat warm, but the coleslaw was at room temperature. I also ordered a piece of cornbread, which I had asked to be heated because it was cold as well. The staff seemed indifferent and more focused on moving customers through the line than providing good service. I chose this place based on recommendations from dinner companions who had dined here several years ago and said it was good. Perhaps the food would have been better if it had been served hot and on real plates, but that was not the case during my visit. I can't recommend 4 Rivers at all; I’ll be going back to Sonny's instead!"

"Great spot for Bbq! Staff (Angie, Paola and Kenzie) we’re all helpful, nice and extremely patient with explaining the menu. Although vegetarian side options were slim, corn and sweet potatoes casserole were tasty. Beyond meat burnt ends were amazingly well-done and sauce was so delicious. Vegetarian options: They use Beyond Meat for plant-based burnt ends. Very delicious and bbq is vegan!!!"

"Ok, when I was in Texas, I said Smoke Shack was the best BBQ I've ever had. I recant that statement. Don't get me wrong, Smoke Shack is gooooooooood, and you will leave fully satisfied, BUT I forgot about 4 Rivers. I live in Ohio. I hadn't been to 4 Rivers since pre-Covid, so I forgot how amazing it is.4 Rivers is located in Orlando. We used to visit Orlando 2x a year 4 Rivers was always on the list. You want good food, fall off the bone ribs, meat on to of meat ribs, smooth, delicious pulled pork, house-made sauce that tops it off to perfection? Go here! The side items are ok, but who cares when the meat will have you thank whatever higher power you serve profusely.We dug in so quickly that I forgot to get pics. We ate so much that we couldn't even walk with our backs straight. We ordered some ribs to go, and I remembered that pic.Listen, go to Orlando and do all the tourist stuff, but then do some self-care and go eat at 4 Rivers!!!"

"I would like to first say that my food was delicious at 4 Rivers. I ordered the brisket tacos. They were some of the best tacos I've ever had!They were perfect.My only issue is with the service.Upon entering the restaurant, my family was greeted by a young man, and he was kind. But he is not who we had to deal with when ordering our food.A blonde female took our order and she treated us as if we were an inconvenience to her by taking our order. She kept cutting my husband off when he was asking questions about certain items and rolling her eyes. It was really astounding to me.The next was the young lady who was at the register. She had no clue what she was doing and she wasn't friendly either.I do not appreciate that these were our first impressions before we got to even try our food.My whole thing is this, I can get a disconnected and impolite attitude at McDonald's. Not that it should be expected, but unfortunately it's what happens most of the time.I am HUGE on customer service and the way others choose to interact with me. That's a big part of going out to eat. And so it always leaves me dismayed when customer service is just an afterthought.This was our first time at 4 Rivers, and we will go again because we truly loved our food. However, if we are met with the same experience, we won't be back. Nor would we recommend it to our family and friends.The food? Delicious! Customer service? Extremely lacking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with a nice kids menu."

"My husband and I stopped here twice during our vacation to AZ. The overall vibe and atmosphere of Windsor was so inviting and fun. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and delicious. My husband didn't know what to get so the bartender whipped something up on the fly for him and it was great! Nathan (amazing waiter extraordinaire) suggested the chicken sammy and biscuits and gravy- both did not disappoint. After our wonderful experience we knew we had to stop back before we left Phoenix so we did. Again, we had great cocktails, service, and food. Whenever we turn to AZ we will definitely be returning."

"Maude 's Alabama BBQ is must eat at restaurant in the Flint metro! The wait to get to Maude 's is worth it! The wait for your order is worth it! The BBQ reflects the flavors and recipes of Alabama. The offerings are what you expect and hope to find at a good BBQ joint! The BBQ sauce is flavorful and barely tips toward the sweet sweet side of scale. It is delightful on the pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and ribes. The portions are filling. The side dishes are varied and tasty! My favorite sides are the baked beans and fried okra! They sell their own seasoning mixes for chicken and pork. They have homemade desserts. They have their Alabama "white sauce, as well for purchase.The restaurant is clean and brightly lit with several large windows. Note: they do not have a public restroom. The staff are efficient, friendly, and helpful!Maude 's is located on Davison Rd. just east of Dort Highway. They have a location in Lapeer, which has been opened for about one year.I will be going back many times!"

"We loved going to Rising Eagle. Rising Eagle has its own unique atmosphere and setting it is very Americana, which is so refreshing to see. So lovely to see an embrace of American history in the beautiful city of Melrose, and to be surrounded by a sense of patriotism and pride in this country. We loved the Monday night music and the trivia, and it made for such a nice date night. The woman who served us was extremely friendly and sweet, as was the bartender who brought over our drinks. Thank you for proving gluten free beer!!!! ? The fish special was delicious and my husband loved the braised beef grilled cheese. Very nice to see the windows opened up on a beautiful evening. 10/10 but I would expect nothing less from the Turner’s/Rising Eagle owners/staff. Thank you and we love your restaurants, please never change."

"First, we have frequented the old Nancy’s location in downtown Sarasota. For the most part we were mostly satisfied with our visits. So, we decided that we would give the Lakewood Ranch location a try.We arrived and this location is attempting to portray a “bar-b-que rustic” vibe. Nope, too confusing with no lighting thoughts, design ideas and confusing rustic with neglect. This is not working.But, ok lets overlook this and place our food order and judge the location by its quality of the eats! Ribs for my wife and me and a pulled pork sandwich for our guest. The food arrived in a timely fashion and by our very competent server. (I am sorry that I can’t remember his name) The food looked great on the plate and we were keen to dig in!!This is where the “wheels fall off”! The ribs were so tough and way to fatty! As Clara once said: “Where’s the meat?” I was at war trying to first chew off the bones! The next challenge was trying to separate the meat from the fat. More fat and less meat was discovered. Got through about half of them and I had to surrender! My wife got through about 5 bones and she too surrendered to the tough meat and fat!! My guest said his pulled pork sandwich was very good however.We shared our complaint with our server and he was looking at the fatty bones and wholeheartedly concurred with our complaint. He called for the manager.The manager arrived and was sympathetic and cooperative to this situation. He removed the 2 rib orders from our bill and we settled and headed out. Thank you for the “No Argument” position and dealing with this in such a fashion.On our way out, we notified and we were struck at the storage door open at the main entrance and just how dirty the entrance was and how dishevelled the area was. This explains why the rest of what we saw inside was “the way it was”!No paper in the men’s bathroom, torn artwork and the general state of the location makes it very clear at just how poorly managed this establishment is!! (It should be noted I am in the hospitality business for 23 years and operate an 18,000 square foot establishment).My final thoughts for consideration: NO, I/we will never return to this location. Too many negatives and not enough positives. Bad management, dirty and awful food. 2 of the 3 of us left hungry!"

"[Cordwood BBQ] is a food truck specializing in smoked meats and BBQ-inspired dishes. I tried the two-meat plate, which included smoked brisket and Korean BBQ tofu, along with sides of potato salad and macaroni and cheese. The brisket was tasty, but it didn’t quite measure up to some of the best I’ve had. While it had good flavor and the BBQ sauce was enjoyable, it lacked the tenderness and juiciness that smoked brisket typically has. Coming from the South, I hold brisket to a high standard. On the bright side, the toast was fantastic—so buttery that it was practically drenched in butter!"
