"There was a romantic birthday dinner that had gone there over the years. Nice room, they fixed it well. Really loud with many loud conversations and a child playing videos, with sound, right next to us. felt like I was with Denny? They wanted to move. Food was good, service was good. Ordnete a single special, a piece of fish with some spinach, and was quite surprised to learn that it costs $85. Spoke to the waiter about it and he told us that Dover sole is very special and expensive. This is great, but verbal at a duck that is twice the price of most disappointment and not mentioning the price is best deceptive. I'm not going back, there are too many other great restaurants on Nantucket."

"I’m not too sure when they opened, but I think we were there in the first week and it’s only gotten better. The unfortunate fire closed them down for some time, but they’re back and going at it better than ever. The burger, the fried chicken sandwich, the shrimp and grits, potato leek soup, and the French press coffee are your top notch items. They also have a nice selection of house beers, but also your typical foreign and domestic‘s. I haven’t been there for lunch in some time, but I loved the half sandwich and soup of ham and Gruyere on a light toasted and buttered baguette with Dijon mustard and cornichons, and a tomato soup. Memorable lunches."

"I was literally treated as if my money was not important. it must be a sign not allowed colors unless they are in the house. The girl they have communication skills or lack at the reception is unlievable! and do not ask for her manager, I just wait her to find out that she was a real gm Go figure. I guess my dollar wasn't white enough to talk to someone profi. if they are black and decide to stay here and review! I can say that they treat us like that. any other area (pool, roof top, room service) they were great. but this recipe is a chaos. I sat there over an hour to receive respect and the friendly others, I am very insulted, but will submit all the right complaints so that no one else is treated as my family and I have been treated."

"Awful! So disappointed. We were out for a meal with friends and hadn 't tried this place so we thought we would give it a try. Service non existent...three out of four entrees arrived and after about fifteen minutes my husband got up to find somebody to check on the situation. We were told the server was on a break! In the middle of the dinner hour? Finally arrived and it was not worth waiting for. No one asked us about drink refills or to pour water or replace silverware. Just a disaster! Manager finally came over (we were literally the only people in the restaurant at 9:00 on a Saturday) and he said he was very embarrassed and would certainly comp the late entree. Of course, we finally got the bill and paid and left. It would have been nice if someone would have asked about coffee or dessert but the place was totally deserted at that point...I wonder why? Wouldn 't go back and would never recommend it to anyone. Shameful!"

"The omelette was delicious. The coffee is not good... They let me choose the kind of tea and the water was nice and hot.I don't much like the bread they serve, but the salad is good and there is a lot of it. I got that instead of the potatoes.I would go back for the atmosphere and the food is definitely good enough if not bettter!"
