"My favorite restaurant. Members of my family eat at Rockfish 2-3 times a month and have for years. We have celebrated special occasions with big groups and I have often gedimt alone. I never had a bad meal or a bad service. In my opinion, they have the best margaritas in the city (I should know) and great happy hour price. This alone is worth the journey!! Food is not fantastic or particularly innovative, but it is always hot and tasty. Its affordability is a reason why we go there so often. If you didn't try, please. None of us want to lose this jewel."

"I had a craving for seafood, and since this restaurant is nearby, we decided to give it a try. Fortunately, we were not disappointed—everything was fantastic, including our server, Morgan! We ordered the Bayou Rita for $7, which was delicious, along with a cup of gumbo for $5.75. We also tried the blackened red snapper (check out the picture), the surf and turf (also pictured), a side salad for $3, a Diet Coke for $3.15, and the fried bread pudding for $7. Oh my goodness, it was all so delicious! Our total came to $73.65 before tip. While the gumbo was just okay, we asked Morgan for her dessert recommendation, and it was spot on. What a great find! The staff greeted us warmly from the moment we walked in, which was definitely a plus. We will certainly be back!"

"Our waiter was extremely shy, making it difficult to understand him. He didn’t offer any explanations about the menu, and I had to catch his attention when he walked away to ask if we could place an appetizer order. The rock trio playing was decent, but that was about it. We tried the spinach dip, which was mostly spinach with very little dip, and the "bombs," which were good. We ordered two chicken pastas along with a Cajun pasta and gumbo, and we were all quite disappointed. 1. The Alfredo pasta was tasteless, dry, and hard. My kids hardly touched it and even asked if they had to finish it. 2. The gumbo was terrible. The roux tasted burned and seemed like it had been prepared that morning. I took two bites and sent it back. The waiter offered to re-order for me without even asking what I wanted. 3. The Cajun pasta lacked flavor entirely. I loaded it with salt and pepper, but that didn't help. It was overly oily and the pasta was almost mushy—it just wasn’t good. I’m giving this place three stars because I plan to return and will just order fish, hoping that a restaurant named Rockfish can serve a decent fish dish."

"Bret was already pouring wine when I arrived. He greeted his regulars, who playfully pretended to be embarrassed by how well he remembered their orders even before they stepped through the door. It was clear they cherished this interaction. It was quite a moment. (Yes, he’s *that* good.) As I took a seat and placed my order, a connection formed between Bret and me. I appreciated his effort to create a personalized experience. Throughout my meal, he anticipated my every need—going above and beyond my expectations in a way that showcased his impressive professionalism. (However, if you mention his professionalism, he playfully brushes it off, as that’s just typical of Bret.) Now, about the food—I almost forgot! It’s great as well. Personally, I really enjoy the Red Beans and Rice, but I could find excellent food at many places nearby. I keep coming back for the outstanding service that Bret provides. Merry Christmas! JGL"

"best cheesecake I have ever had. Better then any of these local bakeries. Hands down best! updated review 8/17/24. I am always happy with Wegmans but last night Michelle from the meat department really helped me out. I needed a beef roast last minute and when I finally made it to wegmans after work, the gentleman was already cleaning the meat show case. I explained to Michelle my situation and she took it upon herself to go in the back and cut me the most perfect roast that I can cook today for my small get-together. She was extremely pleasant (which is not always easy to find in employees post covid), patient and extremely helpful! Michelle definitely possesses all the great qualities that a manager representing a company should have. I would be really surprised if she wasn't already a manager at your store. She really helped me get out of a bind. (full disclaimer- I have absolutely no relation to Michelle or ever met her prior to last night)."

"This is a huge grocery store that carries everything known to man. You want a deli, they got it you want fresh fish fresh meats fresh anything this store is got it! Probably some of the most finest freshest produce and vegetables in the area! They also have a liquor store which carries more beer wine and alcohol than I have ever seen in a larger liquor store chain. They also have their own Pharmacy, which I recently got to to try for the medication I was looking for they were the lowest priced around. The pharmacist and staff where the friendliest people I have ever met in a pharmacy. Whatever you're shopping means Maybe you will most likely find it in the store! PS if you're going for the first time, give yourself plenty of time to walk around and check the entire place out! You will not be disappointed!"

"I always g9 to this wegmans and I still think it's the best places for groceries in the area, but in the past few years I have seen a definite decline in the shopping experience. First off the produce area is very hard to move around in. It's extremely crowded and hard t9 move a cart around in, it's the part I dread about shopping. Secondly if I have to go shopping past six at night they are out of everything, basic items that they should have on hand. They don't restock nearly enough throughout the day. Lastly shopping online has been an investing experience. I have has some great instacart people and some not so great. Overall it's been better more then worse so understandable, but the website is horrible for it. It is slow, so slow, so bad I could easily shop quicker in the store then on my computer. They say they are out of things and I have stopped by the store and they have them in stock. Skip the delivery and wear a face mask and brave the store, because the website is that bad."

"I deducted a star for their display of dark, almost black avocados that nobody seemed interested in buying; they were absolutely disgusting. Aside from that, we had a question about the tortillas, and the staff were very helpful in directing us to them, which was nice. However, I was disappointed to find they do not carry Freehofer Maistoasties. Additionally, I didn’t see any Zimt mini donuts, which were supposed to be super soft. As a bonus, a woman offered to help us when we were filling the cart for my sister. This saved us the trouble of looking for a car corral or having to park awkwardly—nothing worse than being that inconsiderate driver. Overall, while it’s not perfect, it beats Tops Friendly Market by a mile, and Price Chopper is definitely a miss. However, they do carry Freehofer donuts, and I believe they even stock those elusive Maistoasties!"

"Having grown up in Central New York, Wegmans holds a special place in my heart. However, my recent experience at a particular location was disappointing. I arrived at the store just before 8pm to get a sub, only to be told that they were closing early. Despite the fact that the food was still available, the employee seemed disinterested in serving me. This lack of professionalism was surprising, as I have visited many other Wegmans locations without any issues. "I have to say I was quite disappointed with my Pepperoni pizza. Wegmans doesn’t allow for special instructions, so I couldn't request my pizza to be well done, thin, and crispy. Moreover, they barely cut the pizza—just sliced it in half and then cut one half into two pieces, leaving the rest uncut. This was especially frustrating since I needed to share it with residents in a nursing home. It seems that Wegmans doesn’t consider personal food preferences. I won’t be ordering pizza from them again, although I must admit their sweet potato fries and roast beef sandwich were good."

"The first time I ever been here an amazing employee had helped me find my vehicle after seeing me have a meltdown about not being able to find it and I truly appreciate him for that. And in another experience I had searched 5 stores for a charging block and wegmans was my last hope to find one considering how late it was and the amazing employee who helped me find it went out of his way to pay for it, surely made me day! "This used to be our favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. I grew up near the original location on 63rd Street. However, the quality and flavor have really declined recently. They've altered the dough recipe, making it thicker and drier than it used to be. Additionally, Palermo's is famous for its signature pizza sauce, but it seems they've changed that as well. Today, we ordered two of their pizzas (which were not cheap, totaling nearly $70) and were extremely disappointed. The taste and quality are nothing like what they used to be. It was worth the price before, but it's no longer the same. Unfortunately, it looks like this is the end of the line for me and Palermo's. It's truly a shame."

"I dont know what happened to Wegmans but thats the 2nd pizza I got from them through door dash that didnt even come up to frozen pizza standards. Is it this bad in the store or are they just screwing their DD customers? Too bad I really liked their pizza in the past but 2 inches of crust sauce pretty much nonexistent skimped on the toppings, well I can get way better frozen for $6 instead of this for $30. Instead of remodeling your food court why not just shut it down, very sad very disappointed."

"Pronto is my go to spot for lunch, and when I'm out for breakfast that too. They have the freshest ingredients for salads, nothing is ever soggy or wilted, and they always do the perfect amount of dressing love their basil dressing! The paninis are also great, a good balance of bread and insides, which you don't get everywhere. I especially love the tuna melt. The staff is very nice, always remember me when I'm in, and make good suggestions for salad combinations if I'm going off menu. This is the kind of place that you won't feel bad budget or health wise about hitting up a few times a week! And the place is spotless!"
