"We attended a Yelp event here for a wine/pairing event. Learned a lot, taste tested several wines and got to meet their lovely Sommolier. We made a reservation for dinner, immediately following the event. Owner came to talk to those of who were attending the event, very knowledgeable, very passionate about the product he was providing to his customers. We ordered, dim sum planner, the wings, lobster rangoon, and the randang. Dim sum platter had three dumplings and they were enormous, but delicious. Presentation was lovely. A lot of meat, more than I normally expect in a dumpling. The Lobster Rangoon was amazing. So light, crispy, flavorful, and I liked that they were in tubular format and not the normal pinched dumpling (Chinese style that many served too much extra breading on those, not enough rangoon! I could have order multiple lobster rangoons and eaten that for dinner. Also, really enjoyed the upscale presentation of these shareable platters. (Photos posted to the page! The randang was just as you would expect, after hearing the story behind this meal being a home cooked meal and not commercialized yet in Asian cuisine, hearty and savory! The wings were AMAZING! They were so delicious... presentation had a sprinkling of sesame seeds, served on a bed of greens. So tasty! Husband and I unanimously agreed that would could easily go there, post up in a booth, drink wine and eat three servings of those wings. T'was a lovely little date night and we left with absolutely no leftovers, regardless of how much food we ordered. Don't judge us."

"About five minutes later, the server approached and asked what toppings we wanted for the misua soup. This raised a red flag; she should have asked this when we placed our order. I also asked her to refill our water, but instead, she just left the pitcher on the table—another red flag. Throughout the experience, I inquired if there was new management, and the server confirmed that there was, mentioning that they had been in business for over a year. As we approached 8:00 PM, I noticed what seemed to be the owner walk into the kitchen (we were seated right next to it) and express concern about why we still hadn’t received our food. The chef responded in Tagalog, saying they didn't have the necessary ingredients, and waved at me dismissively as if I wouldn’t understand. My partner and I were appalled and decided to leave. I questioned why we were being made to wait if they couldn't make the three dishes we ordered. It’s important to note that bulalo takes over an hour just to soften the meat, so the whole situation felt ridiculous. This new management is clearly inexperienced, and it felt like a scene straight out of Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares." I was extremely embarrassed, especially since my partner, who is not Filipino, wanted to try authentic Filipino cuisine, and this was certainly not a good representation. I would never have chosen this place had I known about the management changes and the decline in service. The previous owners had a much better grasp of customer service. My biggest piece of advice is to SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID THIS PLACE."
