"I called a pickup order about 30 minutes before they close. You were very nice about it! I came there about 10 minutes later and my little big order was ready. Again they were very friendly. My order was correct and very good. It's a little on the expensive side, so I don't often order something out, but it's consistently friendly staff and good food that makes it worth while now and then."

"DO NOT order from here through GrubHub. It took me two hours to get my order and when I called to see if a driver had picked up my food I was passed around to 4 different employees. When I finally did speak to who I think might have been manager, I asked her if they had my order and can they see if someone has picked it up yet and her response was “I don’t know, we have a lot of orders.” I said well it says I paid with my card so can you please double check for my name, she told me to hold on with a rude attitude. She then told me they never got my order, 10mins later my food shows up. I think the customer service was definitely lacking, the online ordering needs to be reevaluated and improved especially if they’re going to allow GrubHub to be a delivery service for them. I also feel very upset and wronged by this company that they could not verify they got my order at all. I don’t plan to spend my money here again, bad service makes a lasting impression no matter how good the food is, which I will say was really good. I was just disappointed in how I was treated and spoke to over the phone."

"El Nopal is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants! We visit regularly and really appreciate the friendly and speedy service. There's always a table available because of the restaurant's spacious layout. We love ordering the white queso dip—it's absolutely delicious! We always get the Steak Quesadillas, and I’ve also tried the Lunch Steak Fajitas, which were fantastic. There was more than enough for both my husband and me to leave satisfied. The meat is always cooked perfectly, and our food comes out within 15-20 minutes, without fail, every time. It’s a great atmosphere for groups, with a large dining area that can easily accommodate multiple tables together. We highly recommend El Nopal in Cold Spring to anyone looking for a tasty Mexican restaurant without the typical wait!"

"Ordered turkey club — they were out. Switched to mushroom/bacon burger w/sweet potatoes fries. Burger was cooked perfectly — ordered medium well. Fries were cooked perfectly whish is sometimes tricky for sweet potatoes. Good service. Nice accomodations. Bowling alley is separated from dining area by a big glass wall. Not too noisy. Too many TV's… Can't get away from that distraction. Ill go back."

"The husband and I just went for our 12 year anniversary and everything was amazing! Service was very attentive and the food was so, so delicious! We had fried mushrooms, duck wontons, the Ragin' Cajun burger, the prime-rib melt, and beignets. I don't have one complaint. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted with an “hola amiga.” I felt a bit guilty about ordering so late, but the staff showed no signs of irritation, which I really appreciated. "Walk away from my table for 3 minutes to leave and realized I left my to go box. Went back in and it was thrown away already. They refused to replace it. Talked to the manager who agreed to give me another meal. However, I witness him pull the to go box from the trash in the open kitchen prep area then disappeared in the back of the kitchen. Returned with a meal that was hot but it did not have the mushrooms and onions that the meal comes with. This is important because I picked out all the onions and mushrooms in my original dish because I don't eat them. So I ask you, was this a fresh meal or was it a warmed over meal pulled from the to go box in the trash?"
