"This place used to be our go to place to pick up Fafadas but not anymore. Picked up fafada and star gathiya Thursday night to be completely disappointed. They both tasted like there was some other flour mixed into the gram flour. Fafada normally have cracks in them but as you can see from the pictures absolutely nothing. Maybe it's machine made which is fine but that taste was just horrible. The gathiya also were nothing to write home about. Again seemed like mixed flour and no softness to them. Complete waste of the money spent on them and believe the prices were ridiculous as well. This place is definitely not what it used to be."

"A must try for sure!!!!!! There desserts are amazing. You can not go wrong with anything. But my favorite is the Pineapple chocolate chip cookie an Pineapple upside down cake. The breakfast was sooo good. It reminded me of being in Hawaii. The staff is on island time for sure. But it's a good thing if your not in a hurry. I haven't been there for lunch yet. But i can't wait to try lunch here."

"Had really high hopes for this place since of the awesome reviews and I know of a few people who recommended this place. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and my husband got the two asada taco combo plate with an extra asada taco on the side. SUPER SMALL TACOS for 2$ each!! The flavors where for sure there BUT the asada meat and chicken meat where horribly dry and some peices burnt. The meats where flavored nicely but what's the point if there dry ? The rice was way overcooked and mushy, litterally my husband was making a sculpture outta them lol, The pinto beans where basic. The tortillas where semi hard and not fresh. The chucks of onions inside the tacos where huge and not chopped finely , so biting into one throws off the flavors and all you taste is intense onion. Skimmy on the cilantro. Guacamole on the tacos tasted good and was a refreshing touch. Salsa was on point, especially the green ones. Grilled onions at the salsa bar are not very grilled at all and again are in huge think chucks. Would like to see cilantro at the bar too. price for both meals was a little over 15$ so it was affordable but for the quality I could have gotten way better elsewhere for the same price. The Jamaica drink was very good and the highlight of my meal. The gentlemen who took our order was super nice too But... Wheres the passion and love in the food? Overall a disappointment and we will probably not return as it was nothing to ride home about. Such a shame cause they seem like they have good potential.."

"We have been coming here since moving to San Angelo years ago! The food is always hot and delicious, the service is great and everyone is friendly. They also have the best white sauce in town too. I always get the horchata and it's always yummy. The chicken quesadillas, chicken fried steak, and enchiladas are my go too, but you can't go wrong with anything."

"I had the best customer service I've ever experienced, and the most authentic Hawaiian food I've had on the mainland! We requested modifications to the Katsu chicken, asking for it to be served with two sunny-side-up eggs on top, and we mentioned we would be sharing it. They graciously divided the meal onto two plates and garnished each one beautifully! Plus, the eggs were perfectly cooked! I will definitely be coming back!"

"I ordered the Chicken Katsu and a regular-sized Roast Pork, along with a Hawaiian Sun drink. When I got home and opened the container, I was amazed to find a generous serving of Chicken Katsu and two thick, juicy slices of roast pork! The katsu was crispy, moist, and perfectly seasoned. The dipping sauce paired wonderfully with the chicken. The roast pork was incredibly tender and well-seasoned, and the gravy poured over it was simply divine! The rice and macaroni salad were also perfect. I highly recommend this L&L location! Just a heads up, they only accept cash."

"An absolutely fantastic meal! The atmosphere may not be for everyone as this is primarily a takeout place, but I had lots of fun dining in and enjoying my PHENOMENAL chicken katsu and bubble tea. Came with the best katsu sauce and mac salad I've ever had, easily. I was able to mix up some of the condiments and make it taste even better. Crunchy and juicy chicken! The rest of the party I was in all ordered the shrimp and that got rave reviews as well. Very nice staff. Overall a wonderful place and would definitely come back again!"

"For over seven years, we've been ordering from Charlton House of Pizza and Seafood since my mom moved to Charlton. However, every single time, they get my order wrong, and I always order the same thing. The only reason I continue to order from here when I visit is because they consistently get my mom's order right, and she refuses to go anywhere else. Tonight, I decided to try a pizza instead of my usual sub—chicken, bacon, ranch, with black olives and onions. Unfortunately, even that was messed up and didn't taste good. I have to say, the staff is friendly, but I'm left disappointed every time we order from here."

"The crew was very friendly and efficient. The food was AWESOME! I had an overstuffed gyro with fries and wife had falafel and salad. The meat was perfect, generous with the sauces (love me some tzatziki sauce). They use the same oil for the fries and falafel and the fries come out with a unique hint of spice that makes them totally original in flavor. Exceptional."

"This was a very cute hole in the wall that my friends and I stumbled upon when thev restaurant we had wanted to go to first was closed for Memorial Day. The area is very nice and peaceful, and as soon as you start walking towards Jeje's, you can already smell the smoky aroma of their food cooking. I got the plate with mild falafel and grilled veggies, with dolmas on the side. The cashier was even thoughtful enough to ask me if I was vegan, and when I said yes, she suggested I stick with tahini sauce instead of the default garlic sauce, as the garlic sauce had egg in it! The food was spectacular. They give such generous portions (a huge piece of pita bread that was perfectly toasted!! , and their food is so fresh. The veggies were roasted to perfection, and the falafel balls were perfectly crispy and seasoned, not dry at all. And everything tasted very healthy as well. I highly recommend this place!"

"We 've gotten take out twice and dined in about eight times. We had the mixed plate (x7 , chicken pot pie w/ hearts of palm, corn, and olives (x3 , Minas favorite tropeiro beans (x5 (the beans and collard greens with a fried egg on top make an excellent breakfast next day too , carne de panela (x3, stunning , chicken and yuca fries, almondegas (meatballs , chicken and okra stew, moqueca (coconut seafood stew x2 , costelinha (pork ribs over grits , feijoada (x3; with yucca fries, collard greens, and rice--it was my absolute favorite , aus wagyu picanha with yuca fries and collard greens, red sangria, white sangria (x9 , passionfruit mousse, coconut flan (x2 , coconut clove beijinho (x2 , rice pudding, and chocolate truffles (best truffles ever . I 've loved every item! I think one of my new favorites is the tropeiro beans which is a type of toasty-cassava-beans-pork dish originating from Minas Gerais. It is very unique to Woodspoon. Everything is unique (if you haven 't really had Brazilian food before, especially from Minas Gerais yet everything seems familiar. My s/o said that the carne de panela was a 'ratatouille moment ' which gave him a flash back to his childhood even though he never had that dish before. My ratatouille moment was eating the feijoada, it reminds me of stews my mom made growing up. I liked how the ambiance was very pleasant but not stuffy--I could pick the meat off the bones and not feel completely embarrassed. Woodspoon isn 't another Italian or sushi place and as a result makes a memorable date night. The chef and owner Natalia is very friendly and made us feel like we were having dinner in her home. She came up to our table and pointed out the items in the mix plate and at the end I remember (embarrassingly that she said 'lime only goes on the kibe ' after I sort of juiced it on all of them (oops lol . The dining experience was probably one of the best I 've had in a very long time. I can 't wait to come back and try more items (picanha and grelhas are next! . A note: when you get take out, I 'd reheat some items (especially the mix plate pot pie yuca fries in the oven/convection/ 'air fryer '. I love this place so much I bought a passion fruit tree and collard green tree just so I can re-create some items at home."

"Saimin Says is definitely not a vegetarian restaurant (the sauces contain fish and the fried rice contains pork). However, they were so friendly and helpful in trying to figure something out for me, who happened to walk in for lunch after only glancing at the menu online. I ended up getting the Chicken Curry and Rice (without the chicken of course) and it was really solid. It had a Japanese curry base with Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery inside. The meal came with a cup of rice placed in a to-go bowl and a big soup container for the curry so I was able to try it out in the parking lot. Note that they're directly across the street from Golden International (near IKEA) in a large business plaza. It was initially a little tricky to find the right suite since there isn't a huge sign outside and most of the exteriors look alike."

"I placed an order 37 minutes prior. I get there and they tell me to wait 10 more minutes after that time he still tells me to wait another 10 minutes it took over an hour. The time wasn’t an issue I get it but seeing the person who handled money and touched 1000 surfaces, then literally go in front of me and shave off the chicken Shawarma, and that very piece fell on the counter and being picked up and put on the tray that I ordered was a big fat no for me, I didn’t want to be rude and cancel my order because I understand the value of money and Hardwork. It’s safe to say I will not be back here ever again they definitely have some health and safety issues going on there and customer service could be a lot better. Also don’t even try to make a complaint because they’ll make you feel horrible for even attempting to tell them what went down in the restaurant. Last but not least a small tray that has barely any rice and barely any meat was supposed to be $27.99 I was charged $32.please provide better customer service if you want people to come back.and stop changing your prices whenever you feel it’s convenient for you"

"I had an outstanding breakfast experience! The eggs benedict were the best I've had in Anchorage in a long time. It featured a generous serving of smoked ham (which, while not traditional Canadian bacon, was even better), perfectly poached eggs, a nicely toasted English muffin, crispy hash browns, and a light, flavorful hollandaise sauce with just the right hint of lemon to elevate the dish. It truly was exceptional. Two out of the three in our group ordered the eggs benedict, and we both polished our plates clean. It was that delicious! If I had more room, I definitely would have ordered a second plate as dessert. Despite being quite busy and having a server in training, the service was timely, accurate, and delivered with a cheerful attitude and smile. Great job, Kava! --- On a different occasion, I visited for a mid-morning Saturday breakfast that was decent but not exceptional in quality, although the portions were substantial. If you enjoy average diner breakfasts, you won't be disappointed, especially when your server brings out a massive steak platter with omelet or eggs, hash browns, breakfast meat, and a side of three pancakes. There were plenty of options to choose from; our server recommended the breakfast fried rice and the Reuben omelet, but I opted for the reindeer sausage instead. The eggs in my omelet (made with at least four) were slightly overcooked, but the hash browns were crispy, and the reindeer sausage was generous. The highlight of the meal was our server—bright, energetic, and very competent. She efficiently managed four different orders and quickly corrected one mistake. I look forward to coming back to try the lunch menu!"

"Surely surprised. I love Menudo and wanted to try a new place after the church so that this place appears on my Google search. Definitely homemade food. I mean, only from the smell I could say that the tortillas were made in the house. The place is definitely not restaurant size, was a mini shop, but perhaps became restaurant. Tables are limited so you need to wait to get an open table and you need to wait for food. They had a waitress, although it's small, that's not enough help. She was great and we weren't in a hurry. The food was good. I love my mother's menu item, but this one has a solid 8/10. It is in a newly built stripe and is the only unit rented, so parking is all their really. In any case, be over and patient. Once you're done, go to the checkout window and ring the bell. It could take a second to see you."

However, THIS restaurant stands out as the absolute BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food is all made from scratch, and you can truly taste that in every dish they offer. It’s clear that the chefs pour their love into each recipe, showcasing the authentic flavors of their exceptional family traditions. On top of that, the service is fantastic, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. You and your date can easily spend $20 and still have leftovers, thanks to the generous portion sizes. I've enjoyed Mexican cuisine in Southern Texas and New Mexico, and while it was excellent, Sunnyside reigns supreme. No contest. You owe it to yourself to give this place a try!"

"Unfortunately I forgot to ask for a receipt. However, I ordered a shrimp poboy (approx. 6” , Cajun fries and a drink. The poboy had 5 shrimp on it and there were about a handful of fries in the bag for $3, almost $4. I paid $16 for it. I will not be returning and due to my time constraints, I was unable to discuss my order as well as my coworker’s order with them. I saw an order of fries being placed on the rack as I was placing my order and I must say, it was 3 times the size of my order of fries in the same size bag. I drive through Bunkie often, and this is one place that I will not return to. I spoke with a resident and he stated that his order is always big and he doesn’t understand why our experience wasn’t the same. I will not be returning. I wanted to try something different because I usually go to the pizza place down the road. Definitely regretting that decision. Parking didn’t seem to be an issue. They asked if I could straighten out my vehicle. I thought I was straight. I parked parallel to the other vehicle in the lot. Later found out they meant perpendicular with the building."
